Cloning, either it has to be cheep or free for skirmish. We just die way too much not to have free cloning. Plus there isn't enough isk to go around spending 100k per clone. Unless you plan to connect dust514 to Eve Online and vice versa. or start handing out isk like mad men.
No sp, Yea, I try helping out by shooting the big ship and doing what I can to kill the enemy. But I keep dieing left and right. I had absolutely no advantage what so ever. When it was over, I could not get a single kill in and all I got for my troubles is some measly isk which only covers some of my equipment. So you may want to give sp for winning and as long as you were trying to do something during that time in helping.
Aiming became a problem when you stop moving, the sites either drops or moves all over the place. I'm sorry, that needs to be taken out because I already have enough problems just aiming the darn thing with my controller by it self. Unless there is a skill for it.
Other then that, its ok but I need turn the gamma up, I can't see anything half the time.
*sniffs the air* you must be new. The random map generator is coming online in the precursor build, upon full release there will be numerous maps. 5,000+ star systems, each star system has 200+ planets, each planet has 10-20 districts (maps)......do the math bro!!

O.o i don't think that is correct.... I think you'll find it is buddy. Not all of it will be available on day one of release but over time, just like eve has grown over the years.....so will dust. If you work on what WILL be available on release or soon(TM) after...........that's still over 7,000 maps. (Temperate planets each with 10-20 districts). eventually all planets in new eden will be playable. Do your research dude, and you will find I'm 100% accurate. Look into exactly how many TEMPERATE planets are in new eden, then do the math. Then look into how many TOTAL planets are in new eden, then do the math again. |

No star system has anywhere near 200 planets. They range from 0 to around 20. Anything more than 10 is a fairly large system. Maybe you added too many zeros? My bad dude, but still.........20 planets per star system, then 10+ districts per planet, multiplied by 5,000.....is damn impressive though :) All the planets in each star system will be eventually playable, it has been stated by ccp many times. I used to play eve too, from 2003 - 2010 but I had to quit due to my becoming a hermit and having my pizzas delivered to new eden on a daily basis lol.
Take a look at the link that 'cretian sol' posted on this thread, I count a hell of alot of temperate planets, temperate is what we get first....then they introduce lava, gas, etc etc as the game grows. I don't know how people can say dust won't have enough maps lol |
