Is this in the works? If not it would be a very enjoyable addition, particularly destructable npc buildings. |

na, no Destructable terrain / buildings, it would take up too much ram on th ps3, i'd rather have more people or improved graphics over destructable terrain, personally the reason there is no 64 player games on console version of bf3 is because they said they would have to remove the destructive enviroment if they wanted that many people, wich bf is known for now. |

If lamp posts are indestructible, why not use the same material that lamp posts are made out of for CRUS, Supply Depots, and Blaster Installations?
Edit: PS3 still has untapped potential. |

I'm inclined to agree with terrainbut destructable npc structures should be no problem I would think anyway? They could blow up just like current turret installations etc and be removed from the map for the remainder of the battle. |

They are nerfing the lampposts. They are looking for another manufacturer I believe. Apparently the current manufacturer, C. Norris, Inc. used illegal materials in their constructions. |

I would hope that something as powerful as an orbital strike would create craters of some kind. Walls should be destructible like installations. Cratering in the game may lead to area denial of certain vehicles in tight corridors. |

I don't think you guys are listening.
The limiting factor isn't "ccp can't do this"
Its: Would you rather destructable environments?
Or would you rather huge maps with much more strategic components?
Esp. with how dust is and the game its trying to be, I know which one I'd rather. Hint: its not destructible environments. |

Destructible scenery is overrated. We can already blow up everything the enemy sends at us, and themselves to boot, have fun with that destruction. Besides, we are here to PREVENT destruction, otherwise they'd just glass the facility from orbit. |

I agree but sometimes its a necessity in real battle, ie. In the current skirmish map it would be nice to blow up the table top or hangers as they get used by the enemy team very successfully but it should not be without penalty perhaps in the form of reparation deduction from the general isk reward etc. I would also see this being used on bridges and in a raid game mode where an enemy eve corp hires a mercenary team to undergo a raid for the sole purpose of destroying an enemies planet based mining/manufacturing capabilities on a planet with the victory condition being to destroy the targets before your clone reserves run out. |

I myself would love to see i giant hole in the side of a building if i hit it with a rocket or blast a whole in a wall to shoot a camping enemy but in the end i would rather better graphic performance and desighn then destructable enviroment but i do think this should be something in ccps back pocket as and adding after the game has been finished and theres still room to push th ps3 further |

Destructible terrain would be a nice addition but not at the cost of graphics and players. I would prefer more players on a map and better graphics than some muddy textures for the sake of making a building fall over. But it would be interesting to make it so that orbital bombardments could destroy certain parts of the environment, such as the buildings and towers. I think that would be the best of both worlds. We get the massive player battles and good graphics that some want, and the others get their destructive terrain, at least to an extent. That's the way to go in my opinion. |

While the ability to blow away everything in sight sounds appealing, I much rather play with a larger group of people. If it's possible to do both, that would be great. |
