DO NOT shoot my dogs or I will leave you with a wall where you once had a house. That is all. |

I beat Splinter Cell when I was 14. And then I accompanied my father to the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk where he worked as an instructor. By the time we left, I had located and memorized the locations of every security camera in the building. Video games, man. |

My father, who lives w/ me in his 60's (I in my 40's), watches me play DUST and believes the Govt is 'training' us to do this stuff for real. 'Dad, I work for our Govt. really, they're not that smart'. |

Thats just what they want you to think.
Actually its a common cognitive error. Individuals tend to immediately personify and anthromorph macro entities and attribute them unjustified omnipotence. Ironically when dealing with individual agents of said macro entities, the opposite is often true, attributing often unjustified negative character traits to the individual . I think this is because when our experience does not match our expectation we lash out. |

i thought i was the only one that did that! I either look for escape routes from zombies, watch for "Enemy tanks and Helicopters as well as Drop-Ships" and i memorize anything i think can be useful in an event of disaster. |

Ha! I do this too. In fact, I just told someone about it yesterday. There's a large warehouse type grocery store where I live. They have all this room high off the ground with boxes, crates etc. It is overlooking the shopping isles below. Every time I turn a corner I catch myself scanning those areas for "something" and spotting potential areas to "roost". When I walk out of buildings and there's an open parking lot or field, I'm scanning and judging the distance to my car. The Government is training us and using private industry to do it! |

I.e. when the Goverment via any silly alphabet combo agency thinks cyberwarfare they think lame webpages being down. I tell them if you hire me then I will tell you what duku and stuxnet can evolve into and that means thousands of planes falling from the sky.
Oh and where I live since we have daily gunfights between cartels and the military, federals and state federals and the military helicopter gunships circling overhead this then means that when I play Dust its just kind of where I live only in the videogame we have no dead bodies in the streets waiting for cleanup crews. |

The invasion began in the 70s with manufacturing centers being eliminated and in the 80s the control of the banks began. Instead of a military invasion there was an economic invasion.

Sometimes, when I walk into a building or any other secluded place like a supermarket, I get the urge to switch from the swarm launcher to the SMG to be prepared for a CQC encounter. I'm not entirely sure I always have the appropriate facial expression when a family turns around a corner in such situations. |

And it happened to me again today! I was, as usual, walking my dogs down the street...
On my street there are some tractor tracks in the road from a long time ago when a tractor drove through. I walked by them this evening and when I noticed them I immediately paniced as I thought to myself "****! A tank!". That was followed by about 2 seconds of me looking around trying to find it before it shoots at me. Then I remembered I wasn't playing...
