And then I accompanied my father to the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk where he worked as an instructor.
By the time we left, I had located and memorized the locations of every security camera in the building.

I find myself now constantly moving in irregular patterns to avoid being picked off by sniper fire.

My father, who lives w/ me in his 60's (I in my 40's), watches me play DUST and believes the Govt is 'training' us to do this stuff for real. 'Dad, I work for our Govt. really, they're not that smart'.

Actually its a common cognitive error. Individuals tend to immediately personify and anthromorph macro entities and attribute them unjustified omnipotence. Ironically when dealing with individual agents of said macro entities, the opposite is often true, attributing often unjustified negative character traits to the individual . I think this is because when our experience does not match our expectation we lash out.
