If so, this is the first I've heard of it. Plus, I'm reserving this spot for further questions.
EDIT: After thinking about this for some time, this seems unlikely. The suit that is being used by the dual-wielder is Logi, and dual-wielding cuts your weapon range in half so that begs the question: why would the Logi suit be used to go up close and personal despite being the second weakest class, and the second slowest? Was probably made to look cool. |

This has already been discussed about two weeks ago as I recall. The conclusion was that it's a purely art picture which does not relate to the game mechanics. It was also suggested that one of them is actually a remote repair.
So don't count on this happening. Sorry. |

I really wouldn't care if you could as you wouldn't be able to ads or have accurate long range accuracy have no option to quickly bring out a secondary, very high pg/ CPU requirements to duel wield anything. |

well this is where the aurm items could come in to thier own , as they have vastly less CPU PG than the standard
this is of course if it is actually dual wield and not just a cool pic |

Hm. I'm not particuarly sure how I feel the notion of dual-wielding in Dust514. What I think is that it's a decent concept, but as a functioning mechanic? Not so much unless they did something to balance it -- beyond lack of ADS (Aim Down Sights). They would need to have more negatives. Such as removal of CPU (Central Processing Unit) and PG (Power Grid) skills that would reduce the amount necessary, or increase the usage of using two weapons at once by twenty, or twenty-five percent while active. They would probably have to write some sort of new algorithim too though on bullet spread, and reload times. Which would have to be increased.
This is just my opinion. |

Out in the field it would suck, no lie. No ability to ADS would make short work of anyone who used it.
But in places like Biomass? Where it's all corridors and closed indoor areas? Oh - dude, it would reign supreme. Logistics suit barging in through the door blaring those two bastards would send all but the most hardened Heavy's fleeing for their lives. |

Not dual wielding exactly (I don't think it would work well in this game), but I'm all for dual fitting a weapon doubling your ammo capacity, or just make a separate mod for weapon slots that is "extra ammo". |

I would only accept it if you ahve to shove two weapons and they're restricted to side arms only with no ads. (thus in order to fit it on most suits you have to give up the light weapon slot)
Also they should make the weapon upgrade skill increase the CPU of weapons as well ahs thier own high cpu cost. Thus a guy single weilding the same weapon can get a higher damage pershot with it.
Other things I would like to see dual weilding cut down on, reduction of Reloading speed, Shared ammo pool without an increase to ammo amount, must be matching weapons, cant melee, slower to swap to equipment, slower to equip, harder to run/jump with guns drawn. |

Dual wield could be incorporated if there is a lot of negatives to it. I'm not sure. I think I would like dual wielding SMGs... as a back up weapon .. but then there are only two slots. So that as my one and only weapon? Maybe on Ambush ... I'm not sure. I can't really say. It's an interesting concept though. |

How about heavies quad wielding a Boundless HMG? One in each hand, and one mounted on each shoulder, connected to fire at the same time through a hydraulic cable attached to the triggers of the HMGs in your hand! |

I would like to see dual wielding single-handed weapons, or even SMG with enough strength and a skill requirement. It's just plain badass. Obviously there should be decreased accuracy and movement speed. |

It could be added as a special suit, tech 2 normally had a specialty, and were very expensive. A tech 2 scout with two side arm and no light slot. The tech 2 would require a new skill with higher modifier unlocked at same time as proto. Another tech 2 scout could allow firing while sprinting, and another could get the good cloak. Price would probably be up near 300k each, need few million more sp then proto (penalty starts big and gets smaller with its unlock skill) and die like a regular scout when hit.
Similar to assault frigates, interceptors, and covert ops in EvE. Frigate hulls cost 10k-200k isk, tech 2 hulls 5-15 million isk last I played(over a year ago).
This would make the dual-wielding useful, but just bankrupt anybody trying to use it as a crutch for lack of skill. |

I really hope this isn't added. I already do enough damage with an SMG, having two would be a joke. |
