Not a game related question or rant this time (that's refreshing!).
This time it's forum related.
Why does Tony Calif (and ONLY him) have a special avatar related icon? I started noticing this a while ago and have only gotten around to checking the html source to figure out what it is.
For anyone who hasn't noticed, Tony Calif has a small grey square at the top right corner of his avatar pic.
After analyzing the html source I found it to be an element from a class designed to add forum standing icons. But others have more likes than him and he's by far not the most frequent poster on the forums.
So what it is Tony?
Why do you get a standing we all lack?  |

i believe it has to do with someone being on your contacts or watch lists. |

But he's not.
And besides, as stated, I had a look at the html source. The element is called "standingsIconContainerWhite" so it appears to be related to forum standings. |

odd, cuz when i look at him, i don't see it.
but i have seen what you're talking about. in the last build i used to "watch list" the most notorious of the swarm abusers. never forget.
and sure enough when they posted they had a little grey box on their avatar. |

It's a neutral contact. I added you because you talk trash on here and wanted to see how you did in a game or 2.
Anyway, it's a neutralcontact marker. EvE players will recognise it.
Edit: lol @ icy thinkin I'm a dev. I'd have banned so many people just for being EvEfanboys. |

I have you as a contact, though you might not have me. I wanted to know your PSN because I thought you were a MAG player, but didn't recognise your account.
Any time your a contact or vice versa neutral image is grey, good is blue I think, hostile is orange, kill on sight is red (I think, it's a little grey box with an "=" in it right?)
Tbh it's probably buggy as anything right now. Especially with character wipes ect. |

I might have you on my watchlist and not remember. I have a habit of adding people I see online and know from the forums. Hasn't helped me at all though...
