 please, CCP, make it to where dropships blow up instantly. no matter where they are, when they take the last hit of armor, BOOM!
 
 if you're taking fire bail out when you feel is appropriate, CCP doesn't need to hold your hand and give you time to eject before impact. i've even destroyed dropships on the ground already and it gives the people inside time to bail out.

 I think the LAV and Dropship both need to have this safety feature installed and kept, LAV however there should be some damage to all crew at the cost of making sure they survive the bailout. Because you have consider people like me ONE SHOT such vehicles oftenly giving crew no chance of escape.
 
 HAV is the only one I have no problem with having crew die instantly with the tank.

 I agree with the OP. When the armour runs out the vehicles should go boom. It's hard enough trying to line up the forge gun for 3+ hits just to watch all the passengers jump out... There's no incentive to try because there's no payoff.
 
 Or maybe have a structure hp? vehicle still works, just no more armour. Then when the structure is done, boom

 I also agree with the OP. I am a fairly dedicated vehicle pilot in this game, and when piloting dropships, I rarely die because of the option of bailing before impact. It's not balanced for the AV guys that actually manage to take us out.
 
 Maybe you get the burning wreckage effect if the vehicle doesn't go more than negative 25% armor, but at negative 26% armor damage or more (less? you know what I'm saying -26% to -infinity%) you get the instant explosion. Something to reward the dedicated AV players for killing these expensive flying buses.
