Allright cause alot of people on this forum claim to beat a high end sagaris-surya on their own i tell you this only happends once in a while. The only counter against a high end tank is another (you might guess) high end tank. I give you some simple advices what to put on your tank and what you should avoid.
Main turret: Railgun that does around 1300 damage (unlocked at large hybrid turrets lvl 4) this is the strongest railgun turret avaible and you will bust allmost every thing with it. Dont listen to those fools who go for prototype railgun turrets they are to weak. tested this with the RDV's. Used The lvl 4 turret and it gets shot down stright. Used prototype turret and needed 2 shots.
Turrets for the "crew": you should prefer missile launchers on lvl 4 or prototype turrets to get the best damage results. Railguns would be more effective cause of the higher rate of fire but if one of your "crew" sees a railgun turret or a blaster they jump out stright away.
Shield-armor modules: 3 amplifiers with the best stats, a heavy booster and a HP upgrade
Fighting strategy: If you know that a enemy Sagaris/Surya is around the battlefield dont drive around like a headless chicken. Search yourself a spot where you are in cover and then listen to the sounds around you. If you hear a enemy tank rolling try to find out from where he is coming (a headset works wonder for this). Before you go into the fight (basically 1-2 secs before you reveal your location) activate your armor/shield booster. And then keep shoting the enemy tank with all what you got. Tell your crew to shot the tank cause every bit of damage can make a difference between life and death. And Dont drive around to much during the battle to increase the accuracy of the missile launcher turrets from your crew. Another thing is when you get shot from behind you lost allready the fight (except over long range). Also check somtimes the tactical overview map if you could locate a enemy tank. Even if they are not red marked on the map you can see them as moving objects.
If you stick with this you are most of the time the winner in tankbattles i once destroyed 2 suryas, 1 sagaris, 1 Gunnlogi and a few militia tanks in 1 match. |

These are all good points that I commonly employ with my Sagaris. For anyone that's ridden with me, don't judge these based on my performance, because I am a horrible tank operator. |

A good read. I agree, proper HAV is the best / only way to take down proper HAV's. |

Or use a proto assault forge gun, in a their 2 suit with armor modules and heavy damage mods. First throw 3 anti vehicle nades then forge gun if your good you can get 4 shots off. Now this doesn't always take out the tank , however as soon as you spawn back the second round of the same as above usually does. If I'm lucky I can do this with one guy but most tank drivers tend to find me right away when firing a forge gun. So it usually takes a respawn. |
