Hell I pull 12+ hours a day testing for them when the servers are up, so they should have to do some OT too inorder for us to test more. Haha, if only. CCP is one of the only games companies who actively try to look out for their employees. You often hear of employees working for 100-120 hours a week to hit a deadline. Frankly, I'd prefer CCP take their time about analysing data and developing the game, so that we can have a decent relationship with our devs instead of them being half dead all the time. No-one said that they had to play the other 4 days with us... They can keep checking the test data while we do more testing and then play with us on friday which is the end of the work week. I'm sure they were able to get all the data off the servers in those 3 days. The servers will be on based on the schedule laid out previously. These kinds of posts are the reason people are reluctant to give a little extra sometimes, because of the worry that people like you, and others on this thread, will assume it is always possible and demand it. Just chill out. Complaining about CCP following the rules that they set in the beginning is just ridiculous. |

Just chill out. Complaining about CCP following the rules that they set in the beginning is just ridiculous. I'm not complaining about CCP, but I would like to play the beta as much as possible especially since I bought the merc pack for $20.00. Don't mistake my comments as complaining when all I'm trying to do is to get some game time in. I didn't recieve a free beta key so I'm within my rights to say that I'd like more testing time. I also paid for the 20 dollar merc pack to get in. I just made sure that I agreed with the downtime before paying my 20 bucks. The reason for my reply to you is to point out that this sort of response to "not getting extra time" is more likely to prevent CCP from turning on the servers outside of schedule in the future, because it now appears that giving that extra time is having a negative backlash. Hopefully they will just see this as you being impatient, but if they think there is a consensus among testers that we all agree with you, then you can say goodbye to extra time in the future. |
