Greasy, we only present information given to us by CCP at fanfest, or E3, or any presentation given by them. There's already a lot of media on the game on youtube, the information's all there.
We do speculate, but there's a lot of language in that speculation that shows we're only guessing.
Oh, and DUST and EVE are in the same universe. Makes sense to have things consistent, yeah? So if it's in EVE, and relevant to DUST, it'll probably be in DUST. Funny, that, huh? |

Giggle, even though I know I'm feeding you, I'm still amused by replying.
EVE runs DUST. They pay for merc contracts, and therefore, merc dropsuits, vehicles, installations, etc. DUST would be nothing without EVE. It's a good game, but the main selling point is its integration with the EVE universe.
Also, how is it arrogance to say that I've heard CCP devs say that this will be in the game, or is planned to be in the game, so it probably will? And no, that wasn't sarcasm, or even rhetoric. I want a genuine answer as to how that's either arrogance, sarcasm or rhetoric.
Yes, I know EVE and DUST aren't the same game, but if you have a tank which can shoot down a battleship, when an orbital bombardment from a destroyer can destroy a tank... Well. That's not very logical, is it? |

What do you mean by that? I've never encountered anyone who has said "this will play out that way, or that way". Your original post seemed to suggest that EVE players seemed to know better what features were coming into the game than other players.
We have information that CCP wants to extend a map to the size of an entire planet, some day. We have information that they want to include other planet types. We have information that they want to bring in a lot more features, such as laser rifles. How do we have this information? CCP presentations on the matter. We get our information from CCP and present it as such, we don't speculate and present it as fact. |
