This topic, is pretty,.. well, how does this affect the development of the game?

Of course nobody is going to look at k/d when the whole game is based upon your Coperation standing and how well your team of players work. That's whats going to be evaluated by the guys upstairs flying the ships.

I think what you mean to say is, let's not give so many SP and ISK because of a top k/d, let's give more to people who are in the objective area / where they are supposed to be (a way to do that would be like how well you perform in an area or around certain objectives that need to be captured, like k/d defending a node you helped to hack, or taking out HAV's that are tanking hard on your place).

K/d is still important though, so you know who is killing people the most it identifies where they could be useful at.

Also this is really hard to evaluate i mean there's so many different scenarios at any given time in a 10 second period of the whole battle that even the guy who's camping or just trying to get his K/D up is helping the team tremendously and the dude who spent all his time spawning and dying to get a dropship down and hack into a node isn't helping much by dying every second.

Then aain he's doing the most right thing. Nothing can be perfect.

KDR will only matter in early '13 when we get Arena Battles.
