Please implement these ASAP. It kills my Surya to not have active hardeners and only to run passive ones.

*Facepalm* You know what I meant. If you've ever played eve, armor hardeners only last for 20 seconds. Fits nicely in with bulk tanking instead of having everything passive.

Quote:Curious to hear how you'd think these would be implemented in the game Nano - would it be a module that has a cycle time like the armour repairers but provides no resist bonus while it's not running or do you see it coming at a later point when they may add a capacitor to manage for vehicles? Well a armor hardener in EVE supplies more resistance than energized plating, but only while it is active. When not turned on, it supplies no benefit, I explain the cooldown below.

Quote:I'm pretty sure there aren't going to be any active resistance modules in Dust, since those would require the ability to run infinitely and have no cooldowns, which is only supported in EVE by the capacitor draw needing to be managed, whereas in this game that would just be a classic case of "press this button to win". I'm sure there will be. It will act just like a armor rep does except the duration is 10 seconds shorter. Then after the 20 seconds is up, you have to wait 30 seconds for it to cool down.

Thanks. It adds a lot more skill involvement when playing with a Surya.
