CCP isnt doing this for free, even though you dont have to buy it.
It does have an in game advantage. You get a free drop on everyone on the leader boards. You get more skill points so you are ahead of everyone after the first day of the build. (If you no life it.)The second day you will have even more SP then everyone and it will just snowball after a few days. Pretty soon you are 6th in the world for kills but 1st in the world for SP. Not naming any names LOL.
Its is pay to win to a certain extent but its not even that big of a deal tbh. Ccp has got to make money somehow. |

I never said that. I never even said I wouldn't use boosters. I might... It is a pay2win/grind2win advantage. Not even that big of a deal though.(its what 10%?) As I said they gotta make money somehow.
If it was 100% SP advantage I might have a problem with it. 10% though, meh. I don't really care. |

50% bonuses is still not even that bad. Skill will still trump skill points at early stages of the builds.
Weeks later it will snowball and they will have a distinct advantage. If they are going to play that hard though then I guess they kind of deserve it. People that play dust casually and use boosters will not even be a threat compared to someone who just worked the grind really long and hard (lol) to get where they are. |
