Allow customizable settings for weapons/equipment/modules to the R2 wheel. Let us, per fitting (including vehicles), set the triangle/circle/square/x/L1/L2/R1/dpad buttons to each individual item that can be swapped to or activated. The result would be:
-Press R2+other button to swap to or activate the item. -Hold R2 to pull up the current wheel with overlays of the assigned buttons to each of the items. If you so choose, you can still activate with the right analog stick. Also, have this option toggleable, so for those of us that don't want to ever use this option can deactivate it so R2 doesn't prevent the usage of the right analog stick and interrupt aiming ability.
This would allow for quick swapping to any item or module we choose, and I feel would be more precise than messing around with the current activation mechanics. |

the menu you guys made is ok, but in the heat of a gun fight... its very likely that you will open the circle menu and get owned when all you wanted was your backup weapon.
I want the circle menu on a totally different button than my quick select which i would like to be only used for primary and secondary or whatever we program them as. someone might want grenades and their primary on this button. others might want the primary and secondary sidearm. |

+1 to this idea too though - a quick-select menu would be nice if we could get one.
Another of those "hopefully in conjunction with controller remapping" things though. And remappable controls ARE confirmed, so we'll have to wait and see HOW customisable they are... |

Lost count how many times the wrong thing comes up when i'm using this horrible way to get what i want. Want my secondary, get a nanohive. Want a nanohive get RE. etc.etc. lus time it takes messing about often gets you killed. |

yea im pretty sure anyone in a gun fight has had that menu open when you wanted to change weapons and not stare at a circle menu. |

Good post. I'll be switching to key/mouse for running around but would definitely want this level of customization for vehicles. |
