It would be cool to have weapon fittings similar to the dropsuit and vehicle fittings. Think about it, you could mount a scope to your Assault Rifle but it would require PG/CPU from your weapon or suit, and add mass, making you aim slower. Or maybe a laser sight to improve hipfire accuracy. Or a suppressor that would dampen the noise while decreasing bullet velocity/accuracy/range. It would allow for greater weapon customization and add a new depth of play to infantry weapons. It would also please FPS fanboys who are used to being able to customize weapons on other games. |

I totally agree, maybe about 5 or so slots or it could vary for each weapon. |

That is something that should, in all honesty be left to people in the gun trade. it would help create and promote an economy and diversify the potential for a deeper gaming experience. |

much easier to do: Add another weapon upgrade module (like the damege modifier) that give you better range and scope. Just like in EVE, you can choose to increase your weapon damage or range and acccuracy. |

We proposed/requested weapon customization more then once and more then a month ago. No answer and so it's not going to happen...not to mention hat is a colossal design task and frankly time is running out. |

They could also be fitted like you choose a hull and detonator which effects the ignition, a explosive which has a effect on the explosion range and power and an effect. There should be more types of melee weapons like tasers, poison injectors or just fists. There should be more types of sidearm weapons like a flame thrower, a nanite sprayer that work like a nanite grenade inside or an electric pulse battery that creates a flash which jumps to every metal part within a certain range and paralyzes mercs and vessels and this a few times until its energy isnt strong enough anymore.They should also have interchangeable mags loading mechanisms, bullets, barrels, muzzles, hulls and scopes
