Yup, got a kill from it too.
Made me come to the conclusion that fall damage needs to be increased as it seems a bit much for an HAV to survive that, regardless of the fit. |

Also something I've heard. I think it's silly and personally wouldn't change game mechanics to stop that. I hope CCP don't implement that. There should be other reasons stopping you from spawning a tank on a tower but those should be game oriented like chain of command or just it being plainly a stupid idea. Hopefully the tank price increase should also prevent this (for now). |

You can drive a militia LaV off from there and it doesn't always blow up you can basically land at A spawn area. And drive off. |

Is very funny indeed. I've tried with "soma" and I tried to shoot to all seemed moving in the ground. The worse part is that with every shoot, the tank jump to much in the ramp of the tower (just like a wild horse) and this affect the position of the tank (due the inclination). |

Seen this happen also with the RDV drones and their drunken ways...
Dropped it upside down, started to spin outta control in our main spawn! Told people to get away and run but you know people and listening. Killed two just spawning then a guy ran up to it to jump in I guess, well, that was quickly proven to be a fatal error.

I used to get this often when I was calling in Suryas, no idea if it helped, it seemed to, but I would shoot at it till it landed back on its tracks, most of the time it would land, think once or twice it just spun off into red zone or blew up |

Environmental damage to vehicles needs a huge increase. When tanks can fall great distances and dropships can bump into obstacles willy-nilly with little or no damage, there's something wrong.
Dropships in particular need this change. Hard landings should hurt really bad, in not catastrophically. That would stop all of these pilots flying around and driving their nose into the dirt just to crush a single player and then flying away as if nothing happened. |

I've had ships almost completely destroyed by "hard landings" and landsurfing. If you don't know what you're doing in a drop ship it's very, very easy to accidentally blow it up into the side of a building. |

In all honest, HAVs are near useless on towers so I am not sure why they would feel the need to remove that. Unlike a dropship they can't exactly aim down very well unless they are on the ramp (And even then you have a terribly limited area of influence), and they are large enough that toggling the mini-map for a split second allows you to see exactly where they are and never miss.
The amount of times I've rolled my HAV on to an incline and blown away tower campers is unreal. You simply can't miss dropships or HAVs up there, and they literally are unable to dodge (Dropship takes too long to get moving from a park, and HAVs literally have no where to go).
Forge Gunners also have easy times sniping tower camping vehicles. |
