What I would like to see if the irate people whom seem to circle-jerk one another on here, and stop acting like fools. Especially the same small group of people who call us -- "fanboys" -- when we act civil, and are more patient. Just because, they want to scream, cry, and act like a spoiled brat does not make us "fanboys". They use the word a lot, but honestly I feel they do not know what it means. They just cry as loud as possible, and spout what ever negativity they can at every moment they can. That is really petty if not more childish. Riling the people up and vexing them is not the way to go about helping the game or the community.
On a bigger picture though? Both sides need to stop antagonizing, and encouraging one another in being brazen. Usually the forums are nothing, but a negative thread soon followed by another thread that only complains about another thread, and this just goes on and on, and on.. Yesterday was horrible. I dubbed it -- "Day of The Trolling" -- and hopefully we'll never see a sequel. Someone childishly even went out of there way to make a fake account and attempt to impersonate me on here. Seriously though? Both sides need to stop it, and in all honesty -- we all should just realize we want the best for Dust. Just some need to stop barking, crying, yelling, and screaming like brats. Being a negative nancy will not get you what you want.
Can we all just move on? Really?!
Ps. I'm willing to bet money that if CCP would give us some word, or form of docmentation on what is going on, what to expect, or even some words as to what will not happen then the tension on here would drop dramatically. Not everyone will be happy. That is a given. You cannot please everyone and not everyone is pleasable. Some are just out to be a cynic, or pessimist. I just want the GM (General Managment) to talk to the DEV (Developers) and speak with us.. The silence is becoming really harmful and is starting to hinder the game I feel.
I know a lot of people on here are feeling ignored when it comes to the amount of input we as community have provided. Again just post up something that we can read, and will let us know what is going on. I could even understand if they just said we're unable to speak on anything due to corporate policy, or issues.
SImply put? Lack of communication all around here on the forums, and in the community. From all sides. |

I do not doubt that actually, Proto. Not at all. I've seen worse too. I've seen SOCOM forums, Warhawk, MAG, and a number of other forums and community just degenerate into a vile viscous bile of rot. Some of the worst though have to be World of Warcraft and Call of Duty forums.

The only two Call of Duty titles worth mentioning are -- Call of Duty4: Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: World at War -- atleast before the hacking, cheaters, and douchebags ruined everything. I'm personally done playing Call of Duty till we get a proper successor. I'm waiting for Call of Duty5. Till then they can continue with these side stories, and fillers all they want. I just cannot stand the people for the most part. Worst player base in the world. Even when compared to World of Warcraft they are exceedingly worse in nearly every possible way.
Call of Duty: Black Ops2? Already know of a number of games right off the bat it is trying to play off of -- which is not necessarily bad, but considering what I have to expect in terms of story, and gameplay? I'm not really interested at all. Zombies would be the only reason to play and even then Call of Duty: Black Ops could not get me to stay. So yeah.. Not really interested. Just sort of burned out and have been since the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare2. Also note how utterly small the "Call of Duty" was for both MW2, and MW3. Even Activision knew they were gonna bomb out the series. Might as well not be a Call of Duty title.
Seriously miss the early years of this generation. Oh well.. I may yet buy into Counter Strike: Global Offensive. If only due to nostalgia. |
