I believe this is caused by the match starting while the Neocom is displayed but I need to check if it can be reproduced
During all spawn selections the Neocom is displayed and needs to be closed, once spawned the HUD is missing, other than making the game very difficult to play the game seems to otherwise play normally.

i had this happen to me and i froze. also, in the upper right hand corner of the screen it kept displaying "Starting Match in 0:00"
i had no HUD at all, not even crosshairs. |

Just had the same bug and even took a picture of it (although due to it being so easy to describe I doubt it will be needed.)
Started the game, logged in with my 2nd character (Grendror) and searched for a game, in the game it was still reading "starting match in 0:00" and there was no HUD which made playing the round somewhat difficult.
Also simultaneously L1 acted like it was the start button bringing up the Neocom and every respawn seemed to bring it up as well. Pretty odd.
I don't think it's server side but never the less it's the previous game I played from before posting this, which is like hour a go? So if you log performance related player data, you might find something there. |

Had something similar myself today; was browsing around the map waiting for spawn time pre-round, and accidentally pressed Start just as it ticked 0:00.
I had the "Starting match in 0:00" in the top right corner, with no HUD, and every time I pressed L1 I got the Start menu pop up.
Suicide or accessing any menus did not fix it, the only thing that fixed it for me was quitting the match and joining again. |

I had this happen to me as well today, I'm pretty sure it was when I got pulled into a match with my squad when the menu was open. I suspect it's something to do with the game acting like you're not in a match in some ways, as afterwards I noticed that if you hit L1 in your quarters it brings up the menu normally. |
