Heres some notes on playing the logistics guy.
1) The suit is too weak and slow. Everyone shoots at you because your an easy kill. Seems like CCP has hard coded "scissors paper stone" counter play into all the suits, i say this because logistics suits seem an easy kill (maybe a larger hit box to that class or something) for snipers even when you tank the sprint function with cardio. They literally are easier to kill, not matter how fast they are running, and its not just every sniper in game is awesome (there are some really good snipers out there), I've literally been the only guy in sessions to die to sniper fire (because I'm testing logistics - not because I suck - cheeky )
2) Sometimes for no reason the repair tool fails to lock.
3) Sometimes for no reason you get no points for spawns, repairs, or nano hives. Also you should get 50 points for team spawns. There is no logistics role more important that sticking down spawn points which leads be (almost ironically to...)
4) At present trying to rez people just gets you killed. And with the fast spawn timers, small battlefields and abundances of spawn points, there is little value or incentive to players to allow themselves to be rezzed.
5) Playing the logistics guy should feel like either the medic in TF2 or simply and assault guy with more equipment slots. It should not be arbitrarily slower/easier to kill "just because". Although I haven't tried it yet, on paper. it seems like it might be worthwhile just to equip an assault suit as a logistics guy and go with that. |

If you die more often to snipers then others it's because you as a target are a) more stationary b) more out in the open c) spending time on the open trying find your team mates. And guess who gets shots first the guy standing still or the guy strafing and jumping like bunny on acid ? |

I think some people are exaggerating in terms of how weak it is. I use Complex Armor, and get by fine. The only thing Im lacking is proper reps. |

your right, i play with
assault a series 3 complex shield extenders 2 basic armour extenders (reinforcing) advanced gek assault rifle basic scrambler pistol triage rep tool
i've found this to work wonders. i get big shields and if armour gets damaged i lay low and rep with the tool. only downside is that if i run out of ammo i have to suicide
BECAUSE EVERYONE BLOWS UP DEPOTS!
the advantage of logi is the equipment slots and cpu/pg upgrade. so i was interested in fitting a advanced logi up with complex mods and playing assault o see what would happen. but as an assault ive found logis are the easiest targets. even when they arent supporting. theyre about as big as a heavy (lil smaller) and have a hump on their back. I think the hump is the problem. when running perpendicular to you they have a much bigger target area than the ass and scout suits.
hope i helped |

You're easier to hit by snipers because the Logistics Drop-suit is a slower sprinter, with some of the lower shields and stamina than other drop-suits. Like the guy above said, you're more stationary, more than others. If they were to make the Logisitics suit any stronger, they might as well add another slot on the Assault Armor, which I wouldn't be against totally. |

We do seem to be a bit squishier then everything but the scout which seems to be ok on the surface. In practice it's a bit less then helpful. I seem to remember a dev post somewhere saying that we're getting a *TINY* bit of a shield boost in the next patch to compensate though. |

I'm pretty sure it's part of the usual lack of responsiveness we still have with the controls, and the same glitch where the hack meter sometimes cuts out while you're hacking something. |
