I have been in both this build and the previous one and I just cant play this game another second.
I will definately be there at lauch and in each next build, but right now I am very frustrated and bored.
In every fight I find myself yelling at teammates or the game for whatever reason. My teammates just dont play like a team, the game gets me killed over and over and I dont know why, I feel like I cant catch up to the gear level that others are at. The maps are too small and constrained, the tactics (or lack there of) are annoying.
CCP: You need to nurture your community by giving us some TEAM play to test. It may not fit in your testing plan as you have it, but your community will form around the nugget of the beta community...which is complete shite. Give us some tools to make it better and we will.
You also need to tweak the balance of the tiered gear. I die over and over like I am a noob just because I spent points into vehicles...but without a good team and good teamwork, vehicles are a waste.
I would suggest a slightly smaller delta between the top tier gear and the middle tier gear. Make the unlocked tiers give more game play options instead of increased power. Like better zoom or sticky grenades instead of just a damage boost.
As for me, I am out till the next build. I just am not interested in this game in its current build any longer. |

Let me clarify, I know what beta means. I have beta tested way back games like diablo (2 not three) and Warcraft III, the Frozen Throne, Call of Duty (the first) and Sim City 4.
So I know what it means when we are in a beta and awaiting the next build.
What I am saying is that this build shows that this game has potential but is lacking in several key areas. Those areas are noted in my OP.
First rule of beta testing, dont attack OP or what others have said, you dont earn points for winning. You earn points for being right. Imagine the Devs are shadowy mediators who see everything we say and judge our opinions based on merit. Stop trying to convince the rest of the forum. |
