HI guys,
I'm having fun with my new beta access, however I'm wanting to make CCP aware that the font is just a little too small for me to read 
The gameplay itself works great, but with most of the descriptions and stats, I can only comprehend about 1/3 of it on my TV (which is about 18 inches diagonally, haven't had this problem on any other game except "dungeon defenders").
Because of this, I had to choose my class somewhat randomly, and I often have to just buy a item and see what it does as I can't really read the descriptions.
CCP, please make the font size bigger, or perhaps add a slider in the options for font size. This would be a HUGE help 
Also, is anyone else on here having trouble with this? |

I have a 52 inch or so and I have trouble as well. My TV is HD too. |

Agree, and I have a relatively large TV. But this is a great idea!

Good idea, +1, but it's not the first time this has come up.
I still say they need to do SDTV mode - which is an OPTION, not a setting that's automated, so if you're having trouble with your HDTV, you can bump up the font sizes. |

I hooked my PS to my smaller tv 32"...the an "old" one, non lcd/led/plasma type =) and I couldn't read anything. I feel for those who don't have a larger HDTV to play on. So +1 for this. |

Am I the only one that doesn't have an issue with the size of the font?
If I suggest a pair of glasses would i be hated?
I seriously do not have an issue with font size. |

I seriously do not have an issue with font size.
I have a 32" HDTV and have no issues with font size for anything but the player names that float above people in the War Room and combat.
Some people have issues due to smaller TVs, bad settings on their TV, or running in SD instead of HD. Need for glasses is also a possibility, but regardless, having an OPTION for larger text (SDTV mode) is always a good idea in games which are on a console that supports standard definition. |

Exactly what OP said is with me. Also, I can barely read the objective letters, I can't tell B from C. Please make objective letters larger! |

For me it's mostly a contrast issue that would be alleviated with a semi transparent black background and/or larger font sizes. |

I have a 50" HDTV with 1080i. It's impossible to read some of the text, and almost all other text is difficult.
I connected the PS2 to a 24" Asus 120mhz monitor and the text was quite readable, but using that monitor is unfeasible with my home's setup.
Guess what is needed is some choice in text size to make everyone happy.

Make a font size slider. I can read everything perfectly on my computer screen at 720p. Bigger fonts are unnecessary for me. |

Same issue here - 36" HDTV and the fond is unbearably small. But I think that's only part of the issue. I think part of the issue is the color scheme.
When viewing the descriptions, I think the contrast between the white letters, and the bluish background is making things blurry; when it also already hard to read due to size. Maybe if the colors could be re-worked it would make things clearer to see and thus alo easier to read. |
