So after playing and finishing off metal gear peace walker,I had a thought about the mech that is Metal Gear.
It gave me a funny idea about tanks, what if we removed the treads and gave them legs?
The legs would give it maybe a little more maneuverability, going up hills better, its own addons on the legs even.Bad things I could see from this is may be loud as it steps on the ground like a stomp,or the weight or tech that could go on would more than likely be less then what you can put on a normal tank.
I could also see walking tanks as more of a way to deal with infantry than heavy armor and maybe dropships(put a manual AA railgun?),However I can see it also losing to a beef up tread tank, compared to a walking one that has lighter equip/gear.
Seeing all this advance tech around,I would not be surprised to see if those type of tanks exist on the battlefield, what ya'll think? |

Something tells me that when MTACs come in, they will be more mobile but much less durable then HAVs. Can't wait to hunt them. |
