#1 - yeah, i kinda would agree with you. i put a lot of money/time/sp into my fittings and i genuinely care about teamwork, so i would definitely consider myself hardcore when in game...i dont forget its a game tho and ive never had a match i didnt enjoy

you are probably good on your feet, therefore you should stick to that, and i wont tell you not to.
i am very good in my tank. i am sure anybody who ends up on my team would be pissed if they found out i chose to go unspecced assault instead of my fully fitted surya. i know my role and i try to do what i can to help my team in the most efficient way.
again.....
my priorites seem to be in the right place, while you reply by calling me a scrub.....

lol i actually love world of tanks, i was one of the first testers since day one of the closed beta, and was the first one in game to get a su-14, which was at the time the best arty piece in game. havent played for about a yaer now tho. i have dust
Also you can go to COD a pretty good shooter that i think you will enjoy. This is Dust not COD |

hey man, say what you will, its a great game with an interesting game mechanic (one you die in a round, thats it)
i like military stuff, im a proud owner of about 17 firearms, and when i saw a free game about TANKS...of course i would play it...you would find it hard to find a game i havent played....
well, yeah, a tank will kill infantry sometimes....its what they are for. As much as you dont want to hear this... (i wouldnt either)
if your not in an AV fit, how about not going up to tanks?? maybe then you wouldnt die....go cap somewhere else.
if theres only one cap left, that tank probably wont have it easy against your entire team.
i as well as you(probably) cant wait for corporations, cause then we have a bankroll to work with, so those rounds where your team sucks and AV arent doing their job, and you lose money will be few and far in between |

honestly, as much as some dont want to admit it, namely the ones who complain about this game not being a good FPS cause of vehicles....what are you gonna do when we get hostile planets where you NEED vehicles to get around?
i definitely dont think of you as a whiner, since you have your opinion and you have actually discussed this with me and not wasted my time with name calling or just leaving or saying nonsense.
the only thing i want to point out is there is a counter to every type of play style. The concerns of whether or not a tank can kill an infantry player is irrelevant because the scale of the game is so much more than that. Corporations can throw money at the other team and win, its just the kind of game this is.
as much as no one wants to admit it, there is someone who will always be able to kill you based on your loadout and you cant simply think you can shrug that off. when i get overconfident in my tank i die. when you get overconfident in your assault fit, you die. Theres a difference between a team's AV squad being poop and tanks being OP.
tanks are meant to be tanks...plain and simple
edit: also, another point i wanted to point out.....vehicles are meant to enhance a soldiers capabilities....thats why we use them. as a foot soldier, you are the most vulnerable you can possibly be. are orbital strikes OP?
second edit before posting: yeah, orbital strikes are ridiculously OP lol, but thats reality. "balance" is a joke. CCP isnt as noob friendly as COD. by this i am NOT saying you are a noob |

well said. however, i will say that tanks wont be useless, same as foot mobiles wont be. everything has a purpose and dont assume that just because youll get a massive boost in effectiveness due to group play, the other team wont. it goes both ways.
once artillery comes out you can guess what ima do...
once contracts and corp play comes into effect, you can worry about whether or not you can personally defeat a tank, but it will all be about the bigger picture, and the team that has good fluid teamwork on a large scale will win.
im talking squad warfare, tanks in triangle formations, artillery batteries, dropships moving men around to objectives instead of playing them completely the wrong way as they are right now, mtacs, vtols.......
we havent even started playing Dust.....
