I just keep getting destroyed in matches as a logistics guy. Am I doing something wrong? What's a good set to be running with? As much explanation as possible would be great :) |

Logistics is generally best for a support role.
Repair Tools, Nano Injectors (not that useful in the current build), Drop Uplinks and Nanohives are all useful to have.
It's possible to partially fill the Logistics role in other suits, but Logi suits do it better. You need to stick with other players, and make their jobs easier. Focusing on kills will get you AND your teammates killed - you need to know when to fight and when to patch someone else up so they can fight better. Keeping a Heavy or a vehicle alive a few seconds longer will often be more useful than your weapon. |

Nano injector = revives a downed soldier
I've no idea on Logis really. They die so quick that every time I try to stay with infantry I get caught up in a fire-fight and die like a dog. Not too good at hiding around corners until the fight is nearly over I guess. Tips welcome though, I'd like to improve this aspect of my game. |

Tools in order of importance: Nanohives (want R types to augment healing) Drop Uplinks (want gauged or advanced for 2 at a time) Repair Tools (want prototype for 2 targets at once) Light Weapon (recommend AR or Mass Driver) Remote Explosives (best use is a 5 deep tank trap) Grenades (want best AV grenades for more utility) Nanite Injector (essentially useless this build)
Order of other skills is type-II logistics, complex shield extenders, max fitting skills, light weapon support skills, advanced logistics suit. Unlike the proto-scout or proto-assault, there is no significant improvement in survivability between advanced and prototype to justify the extra price for merely one slot. It's nice to have, but it would be better to branch out into type-2 scouts, assaults, and heavies first for more flexibility. You don't /need/ the logi suit to play support.
I should add logistics might be the hardest class to play since you need to be capable of defending yourself with a suit that at prototype level can barely equal the combat performance of the assault standard. |

Hide behind others as you throw most of your equipment on the floor in a big steaming pile of support awesomeness. Works for me. |
