Which leads back to my main point, why charge players, who want to make this F2P game the best it can be, $20 to play the BETA? I know that there is more included in the Merc Package but I am solely focusing on the beta access. I understand that it is a CLOSED beta, but it is still a time for testing, rebalancing, etc... and from my perspective it would be more beneficial to have alot of feedback from players who will play this game than just from players who are willing and able to pay 20 bucks.

So I'll ask once more, why charge $20 to be able to play a beta for a free to play game?

When you pre-order a FPS. More often than not now you get acces to the "beta" (demo...) two weeks before all other PSN users can get in. And more often than not, this pre-order package contains map packs or a shiny weapon. And it's the reason why you buy it. Not the early two weeks access. There, it's the exact same thing. You buy the pack and it gives you a nice starting gear when the game is released : => booster, BPO scout suit, BPO Smg, grenades, drop uplink, etc.... AND the 19,99 bucks in AUR. AND, => => bonus <= <=, access to the REAL beta. Wich beats any pre-order pack ever being sold. I hope i emphazised enough on the bonus part..... And to finish, there's no obligation in buying it. Dont want to ? then just dont.
