I have found that there are times where I want to check on my standings after I've selected my respawn point but before I've actually respawned. Since we have to wait 10-20 seconds to get back into gameplay, adding the ability to use the hotkey on the controller to view standings while waiting would be appreciated to monitor just how many times I've died this map.
Just make sure that if the respawn point becomes unavailable, that it kicks us back to the tactical map and we don't just sit there staring at standings going, "Why haven't I spawned yet?" XD. Also, have the standings screen vanish when respawn timer hits zero. |

Unless they took it out recently, you can already do this, you just have to be fast. Start Button -> Player List...

Oh, I meant the hotkey on the d-pad (up) to register while waiting to respawn to see the player list. Small feature, but would be nice ^_^. |

as others have said you can do this by pressing Start and going to Player List. the only catch is, do not press O to back out of it. you must stay or else it will cancel your spawn. :/ |

That's what it is right now but you have to admit it's not the most practical UI setup. Most players like watching the leaderboard here and then, so a one-click affair would be easier. |
