More surprisingly, the comments from readers following the article were even more positive, and those peeps are hardcore and can be quite nasty at times. This can only bode well and stir peoples interests even further. I urge y'all to check the article if you get a chance.

I admit I'd like some kind of exploration or alternate activity aspect on planets where there's no fighting at that time, just to switch things up, but this is an fps so yeah...I'd also like to see other lifeforms, if you camp for more than a minute, a yeti comes out of nowhere and starts mauling you. Dropship camping on tower? Unleash the dragons!

The potential is the only reason I log in every weekend to give it another try. But you cannot use Beta as an excuse if you are selling DLC packs for Dust 514 that includes a Beta key. The moment you start selling the game or any aspect of the game you should be MUCH farther along than they are today. Every weekend I log in and see less and less people playing. At this rate Dust 514 will die before it launches... NDA or not it's getting around that it's bad, and I won't tell people it's bad but when I am asked I cannot deny that I don't play it very much and those who know me know what that means.

Just proves once again that you don't understand what beta means. Also, I don't think it is bad. It's not, and never will be, generic fps #x like many expected. You also don't seem to realize that not everyone who gets in beta is in for more than one weekend. Almost all the beta codes given out are for one weekend only. That in itself explains less people being on (especially on weekends like this one, which are "off weekends" which means only merc pack and some of the original beta testers have access. Either way, I totally disagree with you on the future of this game.

Unleash the dragons! not dragons, 10-30 foot rogue drones PvE survival horde mode, didn't you see the fanfest videos? he's got a good point yeah the shooting is nice, whatever we have that allready. that won't keep people playing it's just another shooter. BUT it's those other features that are going to make this game great. Can't wait for next build hoping for some PvE.
