Oh sorry, I totally forgot that this was a beta. Here, allow me amend my previous statements so that most players will find my post acceptable.
"Wow CCP, thanks for giving me the privilege of participating in the Dust 514 beta! I am so excited about being given the chance to test out the biggest expansion to the EVE universe! Here's some of my feedback regarding your excellent game:
Heavies are too weak, I was dying too much in the assault dropsuit so I decided to try out the heavy to make up for my lack of skill. To my complete surprise however, I still kept dying! I think around 600 shield and 5000 armor should be added to each heavy suit. Also, swarm launcher missiles should be invisible like grenades and track people across the map.
I like being able to park my dropship on top of the giant towers surrounding the map where no one can get me. I feel so BA for bending the rules just like in EVE! Ya! Harcore to the max! Who cares about gun game, if they can't take me down then they deserve to die by my rockets! Please include similar structures in future maps that I can camp on. Also, dropships are too weak. I should be able to slam into people and get dozens of roadkill without taking any collision damage.
Can we get mouse and keyboard support? I mean, to the people who keep talking about how "fair" this would be and how it would effect the "competitive" side of EVE-...I mean Dust, if you can't put in the time and money into a M&KB setup then you're not hardcore enough to be playing this game! If you want to run around with a dualshock controller and get destroyed by M&KB users it's your fault!
Finally, I keep seeing people talk about things like "irresponsive controls", "bad hit detection", and "balance". My reponse to this: deal with it! This is EVE! Things are supposed to be unbalanced and unfair! If you can't handle it go back to Call of Duty! And anyways I don't even notice any of these issues.This isn't due to my complete lack of FPS experience, it's because you guys are seeing things.
Again, thanks for giving me the honor of playing this game and I hope I make lots of ISK in EVE by exploiting mercene...I mean have lots of fun playing future builds of Dust 514! CCP are gods. <3 you." |
