i would like to say I'm a decent sniper but im no miracal worker. I either sit too long or move too much X| and if i actually get my rhythm down people tend to skip across the map as if they had teleporters so i totally gave up on sniping for now untill things become a little smoother.

Ow to any snipers if you suck abit at hitting infantry but insist on being a sniper thats cool but can you please take out the drop ships. Size of a barn so its not all that hard hell its almost as good as a swarm 4 that job. |

i can shoot out the gunners and a good sniper with 300 so dmg can put a hurting on a lesser drop ship and blow up LAV,s |

if you want to snipe remeber when you kill to much karma comes at you like a b!tch on the rag.
1st of when be come countered your dead ! thats counter sniping for you ! when you take a round to the head and or die you been counter sniped .
ways to stop this is to move not to much as to show every on the other team were you are but know when to move like if you start seeing more sniper drop suits then other dropsuits then most likely they are on to you and are trying to spot you.
when you see drop ships romming around with no guners or the guners are not shooting at stuff on the gournd there trying to spot you.
when you see ar troops walking on the tower next to you or under you they may know were you are but not have seen you .
when you see this stuff and stuff like it MOVE !
if your bing shot at DONT move !
a lot of rounds that are shot at me are just one guy pissed the f#ck off andis trying to get you to move so he and his team can see you and kill you best way to deal with it is to keep your head low and if you can with out him seeing you drop a round into his head and then move .
if they do see you you will know as 2 things will happin no one will be in your kill box not shoooting at you and most likey you died from anuther sniper.
key thing here is when in a scout suit if you see a red marker nd it not moving shoot it its 7/10 most likely sone one trying to snipe and some one on your team saw him or there sig is big like fail hevey snipers and logy snipers.
remaber the goal of sniping IS to make the other team HATE YOU !
when they spend time only looking for you and cant fined you your team can take the point ezer then if they found you and killed you !
your job over all is to F#ck with there mined be for killing them !
you dont even have to kill them like hevey with SL or forge guns hiting them and having them stop fireing and run for cover is better then if you skiped him and shot the AR guy letting the forge gunner take out your tanks. |

I Just started playing and want to focus on the sniper. I created another toon originally but i think I messed the skills up, then I found this thread. I've got a few questions:
Where should I focus my Skill Points to start?
What rifle should i start out with? (provided i spend SP and not use the starter rifle)

1st off get a millt scout suit and put your sp into the sniper rifle OP this will let you get the sniper pro then drop sp into Drop suit command till lv 5
next get sniper rifle Pro skill to lv 2
next work on Electronics to lv 5 and engineering to lv 5
next work on Electronics upgrades to lv 5 (the skills give you a bost to cpu and power grid with lets you add more junk like nanohives and Smg.s and Armo rep and dmg )
next get weaponry to lv 5
next mechanics to lv 5
next gal scout drop suit skill to 4lv or lv5 if you want to use pro( im happy with 4 for the cost)
this is mostly the skills you need to help you sniping and do your job well and stay alive longer.
you then may want to then branch off and do trian for CQB
like using the Smg.s and for when the drop ships are on your but put sp into the SL
