Hi and welcome!
I'd like to show you wich fittings i use in the field and to what extend they help me do my job at taking objectives and killing people, feel free to leave you're own dropsuit fitting or vehicle fitting or both in your reply.
I'd like to start off with my main Dropsuit fitting, I'll be dropping more fittings in this thread once i have some more time on my hands ie. my AV fittings, CQC fittings, Vehicle fittings and future builds.
Fitting 01 [Average. Price 70,100 isk and 5 aurum per suit]
Dropsuit: Assault vk0 [294 Shield HP total, 323 Armor HP total, 4,85 m/s; modules incl.] [Mlvl 7]
Primary: Ishukune Sniper Rifle [222.0 HP per shot, 50 RPM] [Mlvl 7] Secondary: Boundless Breach SMG [40.8 HP, 534 RPM] [Mlvl 9] Grenades: 'Cavity' Thunker Locus Grenade [600 HP, 5,4m radius, Explodes on impact] [Mlvl 8]
Equipslot 1: Quantum Nanohive [Mlvl 2] Equipslot 2: Remote Explosive [Mlvl 4]
Lowslot 1: Enhanced CPU Upgrade [CPU output increase by 25.0%] [Mlvl 3] Lowslot 2: Basic Armor plates [40 HP, -3% move penalty] [Mlvl 1] Lowslot 3: Basic Armor Repairer [2.0 HP/s] [Mlvl 1] Lowslot 4: Basic Armor Repairer [2.0 HP/s] [Mlvl 1]
Midslot 1: Complex Light Damage Modifier [10.0% Damage increase for SR] [Mlvl 4] Midslot 2: Complex Shield Extender [66.0 HP] [Mlvl 4] Midslot 3: Complex Shield Extender [66.0 HP] [Mlvl 4]
This fitting is so far the best that suits my needs, I was planning on not straying towards the AR mainly because i find it a dull weapon to use so i started putting my SP towards the sniper rifle. This fitting is really good in both long range engagements and CQC due to the fact that it has a very powerfull sidearm and 2 sets of explosives that can turn any heavy into a pile of ash. The trick with this fitting is that you need to stay in combat range minimum of ~80m once they start getting closer than that try hiding behind cover in order to use the SMG to its full effect and surprise the enemy with a rain of bullets. The SMG is easily on par with the Creodron AR given it's in close range and the Sniper rifle can two shot ANY suit except heavy's this includes prototype suits with the fittings i've seen so far. It's also important to have some SR proficiency with this because you'll be moving around alot, i use this fitting not to sit and snipe somewhere, i use it to take out long range targets fast so that i can move in to take the objective. Would also like to add that yes there are remote explosives in this fitting but since there are no other equipment modules available [Drop uplinks override PG capacity] i might as well use them. Also looking to upgrade my Armor modules and see if i can fit one of the advanced/proto modules onto this fit. |

Excellent post, excellent breakdown and a good idea for newer players who play a similar role to aspire to achieve. Let's get more of these posted, hopefully with different loadouts as well. |

I use Logistics all the time. I've found this setup to be very nice: (please forgive me I'm nowhere near my PS3 so I can't put names on the mods)
Advanced logistics suit
Mid: 3x shield extenders Low: 2x armor plates 1x armor repairer High: Duvolle Assault Rifle (you actually dont use it much)
Grenade: AP grenade
Equipment: Drop Uplink Armor Repair Nanohive Remote Repair Gun
The main purpose of this setup is to get as much tank and survivability as you can for your suit. You take out the remote repair module and repair a heavy that seems to know what he's doing. With you there backing him up, he can run around all day long and you will rack up the points. With this tactic I got 100,000 SP, and the heavy I was healing got 30 kills and 4 deaths in the game. You can think of this like Dust's version of the famous Heavy-Medic combo in TF2 |

Gotta say that i've never really liked going full support in any game that supports it, but i do really appreciate guys like you! . The amount of sp you can earn in one match mostly depends on if its after maintenance or downtime of the server, then the first three matches (or two idrk) are the ones with the highest amount. I once earned over 400k SP with my sagaris fit so ill show it right now.
Fitting 02 [Average. Price 128,550 isk per vehicle]
Vehicle: Sagaris Marauder (HAV) [3609 Shield HP total, ~15000 Calc. Shield EHP, 1000 Armor HP Total, Shield Recharge 29.30, 24.00 m/s; modules incl.] [Mlvl 1]
Primary:ST-201 Missile Launcher [150.0 HP Direct 80.0 HP Splash per missile (shoots 4), 8.0m BR] [Mlvl 1] Secondary Front: ST-1 Missile Launcher [350.0 HP Direct 200.0 HP Splash per missile, 5.0m BR] [Mlvl 1] Secondary Gunner: AT-1 Missile Launcher [420.0 HP Direct 240.0 HP Splash per missile, 5.0m BR] [Mlvl 4]
Lowslot 1: Power Diagnostic System I [Bonus to PG:5%, Shield:5%, Shield Recharge:5%] [Mlvl 1] Lowslot 2: Power Diagnostic System I [Bonus to PG:5%, Shield:5%, Shield Recharge:5%] [Mlvl 1] Lowslot 3: Power Diagnostic System I [Bonus to PG:5%, Shield:5%, Shield Recharge:5%] [Mlvl 1]
Midslot 1: Ward Shield Amplifier [Shield Damage Reduction 25.0%] [Mlvl 4] Midslot 2: Ward Shield Amplifier [Shield Damage Reduction 25.0%] [Mlvl 4] Midslot 3: Ward Shield Amplifier [Shield Damage Reduction 25.0%] [Mlvl 4] Midslot 4: Ward Shield Amplifier [Shield Damage Reduction 25.0%] [Mlvl 4] Midslot 5: Ward Shield Amplifier [Shield Damage Reduction 25.0%] [Mlvl 4]
It's a REAL simple fit really all i aimed for was as high as possible damage reduction and as fast as a recharge as i could get, For the sagaris i really recommend this build if you have the isk to support it. It's a passive shield tank and can effectively tank swarm launchers and non proto forge guns, it can only take about 3 hits from a marauder rail gun though. I mainly use it for an objective holder and infantry killer but it can tank any non marauder tanks with ease and take out dropships too. The EHP i calculated is far from correct but since i dont know the stacking penalties for the modules i cannot accurately calculate EHP. I considered putting shield boosters on this fit but i noticed that if i removed one of the shield amplifiers i took considerally more damage and i had to put effort into keeping my shield up (because once you're shields go down on this tank you are dead). I made two of these fittings namely one with Anti-Infantry in mind and one with Anti-tank in mind. My Anti tank version just has the 80GJ Railgun instead of the ML main gun.
EDIT: if you really just wanna go for the Tank killer i'd suggest going for the Surya since i think Railguns and Forge guns do more damage to shields then to armor. |

THUKKER, dumbass. Sit down and read up on some Eve Online Lore or go back to MAG. You're the reason I hate Dust player from other FPS games.
Seriously, if you're going to complain about a game element in a FREE game, why don't you buy some Aurum and try it out yourself and see how badly it performs. |
