I here more talk about budgeting a proto suit and your tank/dropship vs reward of isk and how much this costs and how much that death cost me than kills and "this awsome kill i had".man i dont talk about my home budget or cost of living in real life as much as people on this game do.i will continue to play but if i wanted to budget i would play a cpa sim " I'm a fourth level accountant with maxxed calculater skills and and exclusive desk chair upgrade that adds + 5 to all my multiplication" i like the rpg element but for a fps this game lacks..IT'S A BETA DERP DERP!!! followed by angry flame |

So then stick with your militia gear so you don't have to budget. Problem solved.
If you don't spend isk & Aurum, you have no reason to budget.
If you are hooked on proto suits and expensive vehicles, then either learn to budget your ISK, go broke, or go home.
if I can still break even on kdr with the default fits, and spend 0 ISK for a match, what's your excuse? |

you sir have missed the point ..granted this is a different fps the others the heavy emphasis on budgeting is going to turn off most fps players .while it is a free game at launch that will only hold up player base for so long without hardcore fps players.and personally i earn enough isk to buy what i want in bunches i just dont like having to balance a checkbook while i could be putting your face in the dirt with that time. |

The beta is partly to show those interested enough to come looking a bit about the game (in particular, the fact that you have to budget for things). It's also partly to help the devs work on the game, and at present many of the FPS mechanics are in need of work. Which is why they're working on them now, instead of waiting until after release to hear that "hey, everyone thinks the game sucks"
While this makes it frustrating for people who are used to "beta" meaning "demo with server stress testing" it makes sense when you consider it as an ACTUAL beta. The game is still a legitimate work in progress, and we know that many features are still being worked on, adjusted, removed, added, etc. so basically, be patient, and learn about the system.
I've run entire matches on Militia gear alone, and had 10:2 or better K/D at times. I mostly run builds that are focused more on support than combat though, so that murders my K/D, and I'm also frequently that one guy who gets stupidly large assist counts running alongside stupidly small kill counts. But I don't care, because I win a LOT more often than I lose. |

I don't budget. That's how I handle it.
If I'm getting low on ISK I use cheap stuff. If I have plenty of ISK I use whatever I want. I imagine most players will "budget" in a similar manner. Not everyone is about ROI or ISK/hour. And those who are will spout random numbers and calculations while the others of us attempt to have fun.
Having a heavy focus on a balanced economy and a heavy focus on budgeting are not the same thing. |

So then don't. it's your wallet not mine.
Do you write up a monthly budget for your house taking every little thing into account? No? Guess what, most people don't.
Buy your stuff and go play - when you run out buy more. If your wallet balance suffers from this, figure out why and fix your deficiency. |

Seriously though, I earned my first billion over an extended downtime playing poker, and the billions thereafter came from market making. My most used loadout is one that costs 15k, or thereabouts. I usually get upwards of 150k in a match. That means I have to die 10 times in a match to have no profit whatsoever.
I rarely die more than 5-6 times. Budgeting = no problem. Oh, and my kdr is normally upwards of 1, so that's no problem either.
Find out your preferred loadout and stick with it. Make it as cheap as possible, and as effective as possible. |

Reading your post turns me off from finding your point. If you are not going to use proper punctuation, most people won't read and give proper responses. |

The prices are not even close to final. In fact, they are already severely out-of-date. HAVs are going up to 140, 200, and 1200k each for militia, standard, and advanced for the hull alone. Welcome to the real beta. |

You know what they call the process of tightening up your spending when you have less money, and buying more when you can afford it?
BUDGETING.
