In EVE, there are aside from the 4 main factions also several pirate factions: Sansha, Serpentis, Angel Cartel, Guristas and Bloodraiders. Each with there own special ships (Sansha has some freaky alien looking ships http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejX0Rym0NZw&list=PLF614A7A6461E61E1&index=11&feature=plpp_video)
My question is, will we also see some special gear (weapons, dropsuits) in dust?
Like a Sansha tanks, Angel dropsuits, Serpentis assault rifles, etc. |

id love to see some of this gear guess we will have to wait and see
as its still in beta we only get to play with pretty basic stuff imo |

I can't really say for sure, but think about this for a moment. At present, CCP has only added a handful of the NPC corps in EVE to Dust, but look at the ones they did add: Serpentis and Angel Cartel to name just a few. Next there is the fact that each of the prototype weapons are Faction weapons. My gut is telling me that yes, we will see Serpentis logistics suits. Angel Scout suits, Gurista Assault suits, EoM Heavy Slaver suits, etc.

I doubt the pirate groups will have the full range of gear that the major races have, but I hope there are at least a few unique items. Maybe Militia gear could be from the pirates. |

Currently in EVE, only 1 faction has a full suite of ships... All of the others have only 1 or two spread across various ship types... But notice that none of them are "rookie" ships, instead almost all of them require higher skills and some require multiple racial skills. |
