To OP: Those are a bit big for a MTAC they range from Alien's Powerloader to that ED-209 from robocop. Those pictured there are about the size of a Wanzer from Front Mission though not a battlemech size they're big.
The one pictured in first reply is an MTAC I expect combat variants to be that size at least as it will be smalle nough to avoid getting splat by tanks and AV options using cover. Althought MTACs have come in smaller sizes. |

Wow those are literally days old.
I think the first and last one are the most successful of those concepts. The second one is an intimidating design but is far too tank like, we already have tanks.
If those are intended for eve as likely rejections or robot practice drawings, it must mean they are already in phase one of 2013 release, which whets my appetite for whats sitting on near completed builds. Hmmmm. Exciting.
Oh btw, click on his name (the artists) in the link. Some of the art work is very revealing. Check, fighter and spaceship speed paint. |

Actually I already knew this, I've studied eve online artwork to try to improve my own. Those however are not eve style at all, period. They're for other things possibly but not eve, maybe they studies hes doing on his own but it also seems he consistently has another 'universe' he works on maybe his own.
Very few concepts outside what is in dust or eve are for eve online such as the ship tumbnail sketch where suggestions for the project remodel in eve online in which all ships in eve online gets a do over. |

According to the Chronicle, there were two variations of that mining unit. One that is remote operated that he later sacrificed to breach the airlock while the operator stepped into a larger variant that he could step into. The description seemed to have made it look smaller than the one shown on the FANFEST 2012 pick mainly because it was still a mining tool and that the colony was not prepared for an incursion. |
