Sometimes I wonder how much of a derp I look like when I turn away from the battlefield and look up into the sky just in order to figure out how far the game has progressed.
Right now looking at the MCC is pretty much the only way to tell how much progress the MCC has made during a skirmish match. You can also check the minimap but either way you're left with a bit of uncertainty. Experience can give you a rough estimate as to where the MCC stops and how far along its path it is, but it's certainly not very precise. This problem will probably be exacerbated by randomly generated maps- if you're not playing the map 23/7 like we are now, how are you supposed to get a good feel for how close the MCC is to docking?
It would be nice to have a progress bar that indicates how far along the MCC is in its docking cycle. We have the health bar right now, which is great. It's only half the story, though. Adding a progress bar feature isn't a pressing concern, be it's a tiny thing that could definitely pay dividends in the long term for ease of play.

What's wrong with looking up to see how your doing, if it was a real battle this is what you would have to do.
This is New Eden, Nothing is easy, Nothing is free. Here you work for what you get, and fight to keep what you already have. |

He's right. We've played this map so many times now that we know where the MCC docks. On maps we haven't played before we have no idea. |

While a progress ETA timer might be a bit off, I would love a "Distance/Kilometers/whatever" bar. |

That could be somewhat justifiable. If there are different variations of MCC that can be deployed, I suppose that it's fair to make players jump through the extra hoop of knowing the speed of the vehicle rather than giving that information as a handout. |

We do have MCC HP bars displayed on your HUD in the upcoming build! :)
Oh yeah and please post these kind of things in their proper forum section - feedback/requests in the future. Thank you! |

The progress bar also needs a counter for "docking progress". Right now its only telling half of the story. |

People seems to understand where the MCC docks in the current map... let me tell you I don't. It doesn't seem to dock anywhere and the duration of the match is totally unknown to me, unless the MCC armor is dropping quick. |

Someone timed a series of attacker wins that I saw the results of on the forums.
I can't find the thread any more, but I'm pretty sure it was either 13 or 18 minutes... something with a 3 in it, anyway (and yes, with the way my brain processes numbers, 18 has a 3 in it).
So yeah, about that long. |
