So, even tough I have not yet tried Dust 514 with Move but even before I try, I bet that the Move functionality is like other games where the aiming floats around the screen (which is totally rubbish)
The best way for Move to work would be for the aiming acts exactly like the right stick on a dualshock 3. this would help you sell large quantities of both Move & Sharpshooter for Sony.
As no game does this with Move I feel like Dust 514 can revolutionise this sector of Motion Gaming.
So to reiterate. MOVE should act like the right stick on a dualshock 3, this would provide much better control scheme for all.
Another thing is the general control layout. I think that actions like change weapon, stance etc, should be changed to mirror other games in the genre, ie crouch should be R3, Triangle to change weapon (still have the selection wheel, but by holding triangle instead)....
Another feature that needs to be added to the game soon, would have to be a party / friends system. At the moment it is impossible to play with friends which means playing with "randoms" which does not help team play in a team based game. I'm sure that this feature will be implemented in the future & for the full release. I look forward to playing with friends.
Loving Dust 514, don't play it nearly enough (battlefield just sucks me in ;) ) but will continue to provide freedback where I can. Keep up the good work peeps. See you on the battlefield.
PS. do ytou think that the mercenary pack is worth a shot? I already have access to the beta so is it worth getting for the dropsuit etc.?
Thanks.

Well I don't think you'd have to turn your bak to the TV, much like you don't have to with a Dualshock 3 controller.
The Move would act exactly like the right stick meaning that if you look up the screen would also move up, if you turn left the screen would also turn left. ie while moving the "sharpshooter" left the character & view would move around similar to how it does with the aiming as it is now, but much more accurately & with less chance of being mowed down & without the reticle moving wildly around the gameworld, the gameworld moving around the reticle.
I truely think this method would work, probably even better than with a dualshock. (maybe not)
hope that explains it a bit more |

i see now yes, sorry. i'm sure they could sort it though. move is plain pointless in FPS games as is.
Move = Fail with core games
