The logistics suits definitely need a buff to their defense. After the first couple of mins the enemy team realizes I am the "healer" and I spend the rest of the match being primaried every time I stick my head out. I only last maybe half a second, not even enough time to get a repair off on my team mates (or I wouldn't have an issue). |

They have about the same def/shields as the caldari AS right now.
I just use 2 weapon boosters, 1 armor, 1 armor repair, but I've been using the grenade launcher recently. More of a support weapon. |

Running those setups I still melt before I can even click to fire off a repair, do you guys repair constantly right at the front lines with the rest of the troops or do you just repair people in a safe area for the most part? |

In combat? I try to repair from around the corner, or while hiding right behind them lol...
What repair gun are you using? The Triage?
I'm using the generic Adv rank one. |

I've found repairing from behind a wall or cover is useless as the lock is usually immediately lost, and too much strafing to use my patients as a meat shield lol. But from what you're suggesting it sounds like logistics are not meant to be battle healers like in other games with similar classes?
EDIT: Yes I am using the Triage |

I think it's just a matter of getting organized, having comms working properly and such. A logistics merc, and especially a healer, can't go ANYWERE without a support squad. A healer is not a lone wolf type of role. It's a squad role as I see it. Ideally you should carry as little weapons as possible and no stuff like damage modifiers. For those things you have to rely on your squad.
So right now, when everyone's lone wolfing it all, I don't see much use for effective deployment of healers. |
