Too non-adjustable. I suggest holding L2 to ready the grenade, with a visible floor marker and semi visible trajectory.
Trajectory would only be visible for a certain distance of the throw.
R1 to cook/throw the grenade.
Pressing crouch changes the throw to an underhand/overhand throw without changing your stance.
Tapping L2 is a quick throw wherever you happen to be pointing.
Another somewhat unrelated suggestion is to change the grenade hand to the left hand for fluidity. |

I think the power behind the throw is fine, but the angle is off. When you're aiming straight ahead, the throw angle is too high, which makes the grenades fly further than I think they should.
Also, they need to speed up the throw animation, fix the lack of responsiveness of the controls (which isn't only a problem with grenades), and generally make things happen when you press the button instead of about a second later.
And I wouldn't mind if they shorten the fuse time as well. |

I was hoping someone would mention the throwing angle, it does seem that when you often have to aim low or at the ground to get the grenade to land even close to where you want it. Sometimes the grenades don't detonate either, or at least the animation doesn't show up or lags or something. Also, you are right about the throw lag, more often than not it takes 2 or even three presses of the button to throw a grenade. |

I agree the throwing trajectory seems awkward. Seems to me to need more arch and less "four-seam fastball" momentum. |
