Seems to me that most people are making way more ISK than we can spend it. Just a quick thought- maybe the amount of ISK a match gives you should be lowered? Not by a huge amount, but just enough to make it more meaningful when stocking up on the most expensive equipment. |

All the equipment accessible is cheap right now.
That will change.
One of the trailers listed MCCs at over 120 mil, on par with the cost of an EVE battleship. |

on top of having increased gains for beta, think about this........
Dust ISK gains are meaningless if an EVE corp decides to pay 5 trillion to defend a planet...nothing you can do about that tho....now you have even less ISK and that corp is even more rich than before lol. |

Vehicles are currently free right now, keep that in mind.
Also keep in mind that while there are prototype equipment there isn't anything that is tier 2 yet. T2 stuff can be ridiculously priced. As an example, if a tier 1 prototype drop suit is 10k isk, it wouldn't be absurd for a T2 one to be 40-50k.
There is also talks about Sp being gained at a 4x rate, could that be true with ISK as well? |

It only seems that way at the moment, try running full proto, one or two deaths can break the bank. Additionally, the amount of isk we are making is a mere pittance. |

Wait until each life is costing you 100,000+ ISK, it only seems like a lot now. Each of my ISK-bought equipment loadouts are costing me about 60,000 (that gives me about 3-5 per match depending on how well I do before I am losing ISK ) for each death and I still have a ways to go before I am using all the equipment I want to be. (And I don't use vehicles at all, another very expensive ISK loadout) |

I think we all will have to worry about isk after release. Remember this is beta so they want to test everything instead of making everything hard to aquire (at least thats what i think) |

I'm pretty sure they stated that we're earning 4x the isk to make it so we can test stuff easier, this means those who complain about high end "Overpowered" stuff should stop talking |

I hope you're right becaue if people can afford to field prototype suits for these high sec matches isk won't matter at all for the fully funded contract matches. If they aren't planning to have T2 gear at launch then they need to raise the value of the items because it doesn't take much skill at all to afford a reasonable suit and I don't think top tier armor should be used EVERY spawn. |

I think I have too much isk. If i have to walk over 300m mean instead of sprinting in a scout suit I just spawn eryx, fly over to where I want to be and throw it away hoping it lands on someone. |

Just to clear up the confusion (I hope)
There are a difference between tiers and tech. Tier 2 are just a slightly higher level item than a tier 1
Tech 2 is usually insanely expensive, and are further developments of a Tech 1 item. For vehicles these usually have more specialized roles.
In EVE the highest Tech level at present, and for a forseeable future, is Tech 3. Adn that only covers cruisers, yet a Tech 3 Cruiser can go toe to toe with a Tech 1 Battleship, and more or less expect to win. The Tech levels are that good. They cost about 5-10 times as much as a Battleship though.
Currently there are no tech 2 items in DUST, I see them as tier 1-4 (Militia, standard, advanced and Proto), though imho the meta level is a better gauge for this, but it is rarely used for that metric. |

I doubt there will be a clone upgrade. we simply die too often. Imagine having to pay 40 million isk (Cost of a 97 million SP clone) every time you die, when you only make 100k isk per round? :P |
