i get 50 people, Q sync in an ambush or skirmish. call in vehicles for the duration of the game, have the other side blown them up for sp and isk? better yet, how about kill feeding?
How will CCP combat this expliot?
facts: it's happened - there's a guy with 185 kdr on the leaderboards with one game played. i don't even want to know how much sp that would be if it was frago'd
besides the many things that are wrong in this beta, this would be hilarious if it went unchecked when the real version of DUST comes out.
dev please comment, i can't think of one fps that has avoided this expliot |

why not. if you think you can get ISK out of it, try.
But i've gotten over 30 in comms to try and sync together, sadly not everyone got into the same match. |

Not our fault some idiot randoms join our game when we are testing how effective every type of weapon is versus every other kind of scenario...
Edit: CCP if you are against such efforts please say so now. I'd rather not do something that you find wrong. |

There's only so much that can be done for kills & people trying to exploit/farm free kills out of the system. Honestly I think the skill gain plateau could probably solve this if it were implemented with more finess.
Set 3 limits on it instead of just 1.
1st limit, total SP gained in a single mission, or for specific actions within a single mission (kills, vehicle kills, kill assists, resupplies, spawns, hacks, etc..) to encourage more group play & help prevent farming.) (If the upper end players could post their average SP gains it'd be helpful.) 2nd limit, total SP gained across a set amount of games. 3rd limit, total # of games played for a set amount of time. |

some exploits you cant stop. If small groups doing so we as players can take note of them and then have fun, thanks FF. If big groups are doing so then ccp can watch for it and punish those as they see fit. |

i think a person could easily get 500-900k sp a game doing that
and i know groups that probably didn't want people talking about it but that's not fair... FIX PLEASe |

But i have the answer to this post. you are mad because you ARE that random that joins these type of games and gets blasted away! Are you buthurt that you cant be one of the people blowing **** up for the SP and getting it while you can, i meant we test all weapons in ALL scenarios! and having this lil thing you hate... helps us better further our knowledge in how well Our swarm launchers blow **** up!!!! |

Honestly there is no good way to solve this in any game. People do it in Call of Duty all the time. Ever heard of 10th prestige lobbies? How about Golden Gun lobbies?
At some point, stopping people from feeding someone kills over and over again will be harmful to those who want to play with and against friends. I've played CoD in ranked playlists where i never every player on both teams. We didn't feed anyone kills because we were doing it for bragging rights but i know there are always portions of the community that will exploit like that.
At best the only thing that would be viable come release is a report system set up similar to LoL tribunal. You can report a player for a specific action and then members of the community review the action and pass a judgement. Any negative judgement passed is then looked at by a Dev and they decide if there is to be a punishment and if there is they hand it out. I don't think they will be able to keep track of video and audio in the game though, that would take an absurd amount of resources but i'm sure they could pull chat logs and scoreboards. It may not be perfect but it would be fairly easy to spot a cheater if someone went 50 and 0 and another guy went 0 and 50. |

Right now you might see any kind of strange things. Often we get groups to go off to the side of the map just to try and test things out.
It gets annoying when guys come out to see what is going on and start shooting at the other team.
We have tested vehicle stuff, the Nano Injectors, different weapons damage in different parts of the body. We have tested doing different things in a match to see how it affects SP and or ISK. The beta is a great time to test things and see if anything is broken.
Not every strange thing you see is exploiting. Sometimes it is testing. |

I'm grabbing my heavy suit. *sniper on the tower* "Sorry I'm aiming center of mass now -- how about that time?" *merc* I'm still respawning. *other merc* "SNIPER ON THE TOWER, SNIPER ON THE TOWER!"
Testing mechanics. Yeah it's kind of like that. |

Beta is our opportunity to test everything, find what works, identify what's out of balance, and hopefully identify all major exploits before the game goes live. Plus, it's really, really fun!
If the game becomes unplayable for entry level players simply because the average player has 10, 15 or 20 million SP, I expect CCP would search for a way to remedy the imbalance (moreso if the players can artificially inflate their SP balance using the method described by the OP).

Given the fact that we already know battles aren't going to work like that post-beta, I have a funny feeling that battles aren't going to work like that post-beta.
To get into a battle with friends in HighSec, you'll need to Q-sync with the matchmaking system, AND you'll need to have 2 teams of similarly-leveled players, because it's not going to put high-tier players against novices. Add the fact that your earnings are based in part on the value of the things you're destroying, and those players AREN'T going to be earning enough to cover their friend's replacement costs for what they sacrificed. Also, there's plenty of reason to believe that Militia vehicles won't be BPOs any more by release day, meaning you won't be able to even spam THEM without consequence - and you'll have less spam still if you consider that CCP have promised a system to limit vehicle spam, and previously suggested that you will need to earn a certain amount of War Points before you can call in your tanks.
For LowSec or NullSec, you'll have to arrange one team defending a location that's being attacked, and the other team to attack them, and hope that once the defending team are in place, you don't get beaten to the punch. Also, when you get your staged battle running, the same issues listed above will be just as much of a problem. |
