Im interested to know all the "facts" about what CCP has stated and it should be a nice and easy look up for info for new players a few things CCP promised im impatient for new stuff lol but if anyone knows different news say it on here ik not that much is released to us ik during fanfest i heard alot of game statements for dust that we have never seen
*free to play mmofps and not pay to win (with real money)
*the release date is 2012 (sometime)
*We will have a co-op mode versus rogue drone like a survival style game (2012)
*Temperate planets only on release then hostile non-temperate planets (lava,gas,snow/ice) in an 2013 expansion
*crafting system (no year i know of)
*orbital strike/ bombardment that eve players can do to help us/destroy us and orbital artillery that we can strike eve with
*EVE/Dust link is/will be very involved together (mail, chat, economy/market)
*OCC (orbital command center) eve players will own, SCC (surface command center) Dust players will own and eve players can also own
*eSports/Competetive gaming mode called gladiator arenas (no real details) and supports game modes such as Capture the flag, Solo Deathmatch and custom matches and with betting and viewing in eve and dust (an 2013 expansion)
*MTACs (Mechanized Torso-Actuated Chassis) in an expansion in 2013

.....source? i didnt see it watching the videos about dust not an official answer anyway and dont try to make my topic worse i like the idea of having all the facts in my topic and most people keep asking duplicate questions anyway and the fanfest videos will take hours for people to watch
p.s. i never said it was but people need facts i want to make sure they dont and i dont get lies from people |

I can confirm 1, 4 and 6. 1 in the E3 2009/2010 announcement, 4 and 6 in a video on youtube about how they developed the maps.
3, 5 and 7 are very likely to happen, seeing as CCP very much enjoy doing player-driven economies and allowing people to do different things. Also, part of 7, DUST characters will be able to join EVE corporations. Corporations WILL stretch across the two games.
I've seen far too much media on this game to try to find sources for all that.

You show no interest in the development of dust 514, the technical aspects, the engine details, map generation techniques, universe creation techniques, dev Q&A,........basically everything that makes the game.
if everyone watched all videos between 2009-2012 the this forum would be full of topics that matter, instead of different people posting the same frigging questions over and over.
believe it or not alot of people even beta people have a life so to speak i dont believe that u need to follow it constantly and my topic isnt the same i realize all u see on these forums is alot of speculation and then some things become fact even though a CCP member never said it thats why i ask for a source so people can prove it as a fact and im assuming when u say "you" u mean others cause ive been paying attention as much as possible but im sure i missed stuff and im sure others have missed official statements as well |
