- Give spawn points a capacity over time. E.g. a spawn installation can spawn up to 4 players every 10 seconds. A player spawn hive can spawn 2 players every 16 seconds. When you die and highlight a spawn point, you get a time showing how long until you can spawn there. If loads of players are queued up, you can choose elsewhere. This will stop a whole team dying at the same time, and all spawning on one point simultaneously. It also means you rarely spawn alone, but with team mates for protection.
- For every map, never have just one default, un-capturable spawn for each team. There should be at least two, ideally 3 locations at the edges of the map where a crushed team have a chance of spawning without being instantly pummelled by the winning team in a small kill-zone.

All around bad ideas.
First off the "small kill-zone" is a bug, a well known bug, one that will be fixed. So no need to have multiple "safe" spawn points. In fact, I think there shouldnt be any "red" safe zones where the enemy can't go. It makes it feel gamey. If I wanted to play a game, I would go play CoD. This game is about WAR. arbitrary lines are bad. But I digress.
To your first point, thats a bad idea also. There is no reason for it really other than spreading out reinforcement or respawns.
A much better suggestion was made in other threads in which instead of counting down once you select a spawn point, you should get a spawn bar that starts to fill as soon as you die. At one point (10 seconds) all of the CRU's become "linkable" and you can select and spawn in. At a higher level (15 sec) the drop uplinks become "linkable"
This solved several problems: 1. No more selecting a uplink only to have it disappear right before you spawn and waste the countdown and have to start a new countdown on a new CRU. 2. Teams with effective communication can choose to spawn at coordinated locations at the same time. 2.5 This alleviates some of the issues of spawn camping (when the spawn point bug is fixed)

i agree to a point iv posted spawning idas as well a clone bay should be huge. 250 people spawning out of a unit the size of a truck is stupid thous should be air lifted to a point and have a 15 clone limmet or something to that effect personaly
i think spawn points are out dated and overused and never realy worked as spawn camping "bug or not" is in every fps out there dust is the only 1 with the soport to end the idea of spawnimg |
