The SMG is identical to the stock one except having a slightly lower reload speed (nice, but not massively important) and a 33% larger magazine (80 rounds compared to 60; this is a MASSIVE improvement, as those extra 20 rounds have gotten me many kills that the reload required with a 60 round magazine would have gotten ME killed on.) NOTE: Points of reference are the militia equivalents. I only use BPOs.
Mr TamiyaCowboy Condotta Rouvenor Gallente Federation 121	Posted - 2012.07.17 17:02:00 - [5] - Quote just purchased it money taken. now heres the problem, its not showing in downloads, shows i purchased it in the transaction section of psn , but just gives me the download trail from 11th of this month ( the one i already installed dated 11th this month) where i just purchased a pack dated 17th (today) now TBH ccp/sony needs to make things more clear. im not an avid consoler but expect to buy something and have something to download/install. i would hold of buying said pack until CCP/SONY makes it more clear how you get it. not just a link to where to buy it but how to install it on an already downloaded beta client do you have to delete the already downloaded client or what ? a little clarity please sony/ccp

Garrett Blacknova Codex Troopers 1849	Posted - 2012.07.17 17:07:00 - [7] - Quote You don't need to download anything for the Merc Pack. And it gives you a confirmation pop-up when you buy it. It will auto-download the client if you don't have it installed already, but the rest is done server-side. When you next sign into DUST, you'll be asked which items you want to assign to the character you're signing in as. If you don't assign everything, you'll get the prompt again every time until everything has been assigned somewhere.

To be fair, it does show the "previously purchased" icon. I only bothered to check my download list when I ran into the bug I explained in my "Region Jumping" thread. It makes perfect sense, because like PS+ and extended warranty, it's an account-related item, not a save-file one. None of the other account-based stuff has a download either. I understand the confusion, and a note about "this is an account unlock, no downloads are involved" would be good, but it's not without precedent, nor is it a big deal since right after you petition the "issue" you're probably logging in and then being prompted to assign the items to a character.

Especially since we'll get the AUR back come release time! I've moved away from the dragonfly suit but I might consider making it my main suit again (BPO and all) this weekend as I focus on more LAV testing. It really is a decent suit for a beginner or a sniper.

I play with all BPO items (I'm a cheap SOB), and the dragonfly was definitely a welcome addition to my arsenal. EDIT: PS Die caldari scum!
