ok so i am all for being immortal
but one problem i see with being unable to die is the brains ability to store information in the form of memories its said that the human brain contains a few tera bytes of information in the form of memories
humans need to sleep in order for their brains to process all the new informaton (REM Sleep) or they go crazy but the brain is just a glorified biological computer that has its data limits so what happens when the brain is "filled" to the limits of a clone? do they go insane? does it take longer to DL your self into the clone?
maybe i missed some EVE lore on the subject
would be awesome to get some DUST lore going to explain how a person can just keep going forever and not go bat sh!t crazy
this could open the doors for some "uber" form of PTSD that makes todays version look like a mild nightmare |

implants, and its actually more like petabytes, but still. Implants in the future take care of most of this. They help ward off insanity. |

Yes, you are missing some EVE lore.
People do go insane, which is why so few people can become capsuleers and similarly mercs. |

I kinda agree with what he said about dust merc going crazy and also when I'm in the battle lobby it would explain why they keep saying suicide in public areas is prohibited |

That's why we have no cleaning crew. All because of the PS3. |

Most Empyreans (Capsuleers/Mercs) become Infomorphs eventually and sequester the needed skills for whatever roles the clones they inhabit will be using via drugs, implants and advanced psychological training.

Not hard to see where an immortal might go a little screwloose after a while - especially in the case of a merc where they may be leaving a pile of their own corpses behind during their career. (reclaimed to be reprocessed eventually, but still, after a while a merc might lose track of how many horrible ways they have died over the years and go a little cuckoo.) |

I remember reading something about the jovian experiments on the first caldari pod pilots. I think the tech implanted in him drove him bat **** crazy... But I did read that a long time ago.
