WARNING This post is going to be offensive to many of you, but you read the title and you can figure out what I am going to say so either HTFU or GTFO.
A MMOFPS, as ruthless as the space of New Eden, coming to a console market near you!!!
What is wrong with the above statement? Well nothing really besides the obvious grammatical mistakes, what is wrong is the console market itself. Reading these forums has shown me just how many whiny bitches exist playing PS3. I've seen threads that the UI is too hard to figure out, that reading all the tutorials is too hard, that its too hard because people with better skills can stomp people with lower skills.
Do we see the problem here? These kind of people are the ones we EVE players used to troll, scam and pod with absolute ruthlessness.....and now they think they have a say as to what is "too hard"?
This is an outrage to have the universe of New Eden polluted by such, filth as these. Was New Eden not known as the most ruthless space in the universe? Were we not known as the grand adventurous sociopathic explorers of this vast galaxy? Now to think that these, lesser beings are polluting our galaxy with their idiotic ignorance and laziness.
This CCP is a disgrace to a game holding your mark. This is why we cried out against putting Dust on consoles why it should remain in a much, "purer" world. Where not every 13 year old is able to access it. Where the grandiose splendor of New Eden might be preserved.......
Ok enough of that I sound like one of those dirty Amarr (Minmatar all the way baby).
But seriously 5ISK says most of these people won't stick around after the beta when they realize their dropsuits and tanks aren't free and when they die it actually ate into their rewards for that contract.
My point being Dust is simply much harder than what your average console gamer is used to. I'd be surprised if it reached numbers surpassing EVEs numbers |

Seriously. Because people have 22 subs each. And because it's the same game I played years ago. Just nice textures now. Yay. You don't have to agree.
You make a lot of assumptions. I do plenty in EVE, engage in nullsec warfare, run a class 4 Wormhole with corpies, and just **** around on lowsec roams.
Just because you let EVE stagnate in your own mind doesn't mean the rest of us did. |
