So, CCP, how do you play DUST?
I mean, we know you guys are really busy programming and developing the game. And we know you have a different 'in-house' build that you play test on.
But do you ever get onto the live Beta servers and play with us Thurs-Sun?
And if you ever have tangled in this chaotic, rambunctious, energetic mess of a betapool,
what do you think?
Are you seeing the current Beta testers do things you didn't expect? Are you confirming a lot of the thoughts and expectations you had during Alpha?
Give us some feedback! How's the Beta going? How are we doing on our Test?

CCP employees actually play with us a lot. Their names are not tagged or marked in any way, usually. Most times you won't even know you have a CCP dude with you or on the other team, but a couple of them have told us their character names. I happened to get one of our beloved GM's addicted to dropship crushing after I crushed him a few times a month or so ago. :)
They see all the dirty, nasty tricks we use, and they use them too to see if they should be possible or need to be tweaked. |

Yup no better way for them to see what's what. Besides the data they must collect on how many kills with "x" weapon and such I think jumping into the mess is the only way to see what needs to be tweeked....you really think they just trust the QQers on the forums?
I have faith that the core issues will be dealt with and corrected for there to be a good FPS experience, one thing I know about CCP is their comitment to getting out a quality product and to continue supporting it, plus I think some of them love playing it too. |
