oh LOOK!!.....SHINY!!
surface=/=substance?
surface can be polished..... OOH SHINY!!!
(So) go ahead, you unwashed masses, howl your frustration, i toss bread at your feet, callous knave you squabble over table scraps. I give of your brothers blood that you shall not want of mine, an hark you bray for more. Know ye, you that have ever been slave to illiterate desire. Brave fool crying the night for the surrept philter bought at freedoms edge, and sold for safeties lie.
Its easy to jump to conclusions given a lack of evidence, lines get drawn in the sand, correlations guessed at, end points sought via tangental trajectory. Discrepancies in methodology create erroneous conclusions, like chinese whispers at an acid party.
You don't have to have faith or any kind of belief in the developer, you have been asked to participate with full awareness that the program is incomplete, the mechanics mostly untuned and the game still missing vital components and systems.
still waiting for the next build already!!!!! ...

To be quite honest the only thing the game (beta) has going for it at the moment is it's free. If things don't improve vastly and it gets released with the current mechanics it's going to be a pretty empty place after a couple of months. Console players are an unforgiving bunch with a low toleration threshold in a market where you can go play any number of better FPS's. CCP aren't well knowm on the PS3 and there won't be much in the way of loyalty for them and there way of doing things. You make perfect sense! Truth hurts for many of the ccp loyalists and "dust bunnies" on these forums.
i think you place too much credence in brand loyalty and recognition. Sure bald faced consumers will flock to the latest and greatest, specifically for a grand old purchase from a recognised franchise :P, the interest is in association.
Whether or not DUST makes it out of the gates, is up to the DEV's and their controllers, opining about the future release based upon limited data, or by reference to other games in a finished state i'll leave to those that specialise in conjecture.
"truth hurts", but "whose truth, from whose perspective?"
Cmon next build! :P I wants looks at ewar and its affect on the meta game .....(at which point may i be better informed of whether or not DUST is the game for me....) |
