Except maybe the driver just because I'm riding and somebody on the other guns kills someone or something how should you get points for nothing Credit for other passengers' actions is SOP for crew-served vehicles, and has been since PlanetSide. Getting rid of it discourages single-vehicle teamwork, and instead to field additional vehicles and just use them by yourself, ESPECIALLY when the gunner turrets have limited ranges of motion.
Removing assist points for gunners is a horrible idea. |

Keep trolling man. I said except drivers So get rid of any incentive to get into a dropship, thus encouraging them to squish people even more, got it. |

Gunners don't need to get points for one another's kills, unless they actually helped. Again, this ignores the fact and importance of suppressive fire, herding your targets, and the fact that the range of motion doesn't always let you get in on the action.
The points are fine as-is, encourage teamwork and filling in those seats, and are not detrimental to anyone. It should be left alone.
As to the passenger seats in the dropships, I agree with Chao Wolf. It's silly at the moment, but we should (statement of my opinion, not speculation of what we'll get) get the passengers being able to fire their main weapons out of the door, that's just common sense (and might actually let us see WTF is going on around the ship; as it stands, trying to make a tactical drop is all but impossible since you can't see your surroundings and the lack of teaming or use of voice comms). |
