Maybe this will change in the future but currently there are 4 random default dropsuit fittings such as assault and logistics that first chance I get will never use again. Before the last patch we were able to delete those fittings. Can we do so again as for me it just takes up space? |

Yeah, this is something I'd like to see change as well. The starter fits are totally useless to me and only serve as clutter in the fits menu. I understand not wanting new players to accidentally delete their fits and not know how to make a new one so the game suddenly becomes unplayable, but after a certain skill point threshold the fits should be open for deletion. |

possibly they could make a list of fittings you use in game and ones that you do not could be put onto an unused list, or placed at the bottom perhaps. i do understand the problem with people accidentally deleting the most basic fittings and not being able to be played.
perhaps making them invisible? |

There's been a few threads about improving sorting options for the fitting lists. The simplest to implement would be to simply categorize by armour type: one tab each for heavy, scout, pilot, assault, logistics, etc. Can have another tab for the defaults. This, combined with allowing you to sort the vertical order that suits appear, would work wonders for the usability of the interface. Keeps it simple, keeps it quick. I imagine most people (probably) won't have more than 3-5 fits for each armour type, making this sorting ideal. Even if you have more, it's still workable, but it's also really easy on CCP's side to code and implement. |

I think players should be able to replace the default Fittings with our own BPO-only Fittings. They HAVE to be Fittings that will never need resupply, and there have to be a set number of them.
Another important point is that the "preferred fitting" function isn't working in the current build, but that's a known issue to be addressed, and will probably help matters a lot. |

they could also use the favorites, you just pick your favorites (not just one) and those are the ones that will show up on the menu in a match and this way they dont have have to delete the other fittings. just as simple |

I think those fittings are there just for this beta, because like the vehicle fittings, they are free. Once the release comes, I imagine they won't be there. You'll probably be given those militia suits when you start like you're given rookie ships with civilian modules in EVE online. |

I think it's highly likely they'll be there at launch, as it ensures that everyone can contribute meaningfully at all times, and won't have to dig through menus and restock mid-match.
At a bare minimum, I would expect you to get at least the scout, heavy, or assault one, depending on your choices at character creation (much like race determines which rookie ship you're always given in EVE.) |
