I want to feel like this a battle between well funded futuristic mercenaries fighting for corrupt arrogant capsuleers, not some 21st century war with glowing weapons. I donGÇÖt know if anyone agrees with the idea of expanding on the game tactic side but here is my idea
A special fitting for to augment your vision, there could be a few different types that find different things like thermal, Electronic signatures, motion. Then your Holographic HuD will show something like a red cloud of mist most of the time and when you have a clear signal it could outline the foe. This could be limited by how far away and how much mass is between you and them. For example you could equip a heat sensor and run into a office building, as your moving down the all you can see a thick cloud in one room, so now you know there are multiple enemies in the room up ahead and you could tell your team, as you get close you could start getting an outline for enemy close to you then you flash bang them and breach the room. Another thing is when the command suit comes out allow them to upload their tactical reading to other suits or to share one members sensors within a small nearby groups.

Deployable Equipment, I know the logi will be coming into their light in later builds, but seeing as this is the future and a alternate universe I think some deployable equipment such as dust version of sentry guns they could be a little bit weaker than small vehicle turrets and only shoot targets within 20 or 25 meters. AOE signal jammer than could limit radar and sensor it could even make static role across are screen. A temporary shield that could provide cover for a limited time give it 400 or so hp and make it so it cant regen would make viable/fair. And something unique to eve could be a AOE statiss webifer that slows anything moving across it. Because of the different use for all this stuff so its not spammed by logi make it so it takes a few second to set each(have a skill for shorten this time)

Usable equipment for infantry, they have been many times when I missed the good ole flashbang which makes up the core of my flash and breach tactics in indoor combat. But some other things is a limited states webifer grenade, a flash bang, and emp grenade would give us some more choice than just the normal AP and AV grenades. Target painters are another thing I would like to see they could put a permanent lock on something for swarmlauncher, of course this would tie into a warning system for vehicles when rockets are out, this lock would give the pilot warning when the lock is being made. And something for command suits when they come out is when they target paint a enemy they can GÇ£shareGÇ¥ the lock with other infantry.

Customizable weapons I know there are dozens of threads by now but if you do decide to do weapon customization heres some ideas on it. Have special modules for increasing range, and damage at the cost of something else. Underbarrel plasmathrower is still an something I would like to see along with other underbarrel attachments.
Ammo types is another one I like to see it could have different ammo types affect range, damage accuracy ect. And could be good against shield or armor. |
