Unless I'm missing something, the skills in dust require double the amount of skill points than those in eve for the same skill multiplier.
Take for instance in EVE the skill "Trading", a 1x multiplier skill. On an eve character I have this at rank V, for a total of 256000 skill points. In dust, I have weaponry at rank V, also a 1x multiplier skill. This has 512000 skill points in it.
I appreciate that there is no requirement to have the same skill point totals, it just seems a little odd to me, so figured I'd mention it.
I'm a bit late to the party, so this may have been discussed before, just couldn't find anything related when trawling/searching these forums.

We get rewarded SP during Dust games and not in Eve might be why. |

As well as gaining skills actively in DUST, in EVE we also have attributes which can change how quickly we learn certain skills. With low charisma, trading level V will take longer than somone with a higher charisma attribute for example. :)

I would like to point out that maxing out a X1 skill to V is much slower in EVE then it is in DUST even counting the X4 skill gain we have right now (not even counting the boosters). |

Yes its easier to get SP in Dust so we all have a lot more, however, skills are not shared so it really doesn't matter how inflated the SP is. |
