 It would be cool if some Corp. installations were getting overcomed by "unwelcome locals" and mercs were dispatched by affected Corps on a "cleanup" mission.
Dozens of tiny red indicators on the radar moving in fast. 12 mercs with assault rifles. Splitch, splotch. |

Maybe not keep the name but this as some potential.
In every empire and regimes, there is always some form of opposition. Something quite violent. So you could be called down to do some repression. Rebellion, strikes, and other form of angry mob.
Or it s just a primitives alien form who don't like seeing your shiny new installation next to their hives. |

There is going to be a similar mode but with roque drones but this could be one variant of it once it comes out. I'm liking this idea  |

This looks pretty good, a nice method for 'ratting', and way better than just 'play a normal game, but these are AI'. |

Could make the "Unwelcome Locals" be player controlled... Say your facility was next to a hive of creepy little "wolf like" creatures, and those creatures attacked, make hundreds of players control the creatures, and make 20 or 30 mercs fight them off. Would make me LOL a bit :) |

Its in the game.
Its called PvE.
They are gonna let you go kill rogue drones and some of the missions will have wave after wave of rogue drones for you to kill solo or as a team. |

Excellent !! I'm getting a feeling that the RPG part might include solo missions of all kinds (kill, retrieve, repair, etc...). |
